  3. if you are converting to BL, I'm pretty sure the motor mount is designed for a 45T spur. Its what mine runs on
  4. Mawgan Porth is home until sat morn, Do you resist the temptation to beach bash JN ? I left my toys at home. Yes Al and Jonny are legends, I did a couple of seasons of Triathlon and its an amazing achievement to consistently win , so much can go wrong . Love the two lads who got bronze in the badminton, great interview with Balders, they are the type of gents who will inspire kids to take up the sport . go go go !
  5. brushless will need belted tyres really. Gearing , probably around 45/19 on 4/5/6 S
  6. damn silly time to go to cornwall for hols, lovely as it is, wifi is rubbish so no I player catchup. not to worry, TV coverage is pretty good it seems Its a great games for sure. GB are storming it. (gutted for Greg Ruthers) Love the whole show. Main low point though, Brazil crowd booing the French world champ pole vaulter as he was head to head with a guy from Rio, really upsetting to watch, completely ruined when once more they booed him as he was awarded his silver (the Brazillian got gold with a lifetime best) Poor French guy was completely shocked by that, there was criticism of the hosts media not mentioning it in the papers and asked people to be more sporting. But, so many fabulous success stories , lets hope Mo kicks it on the 5k and GB get a few more medals in the ladies races. Also want to see Adam Gemili have a good experience. Lovely gent and a great talent.

Ah yes but you get over double the wattage ;) and wattage is key.

For instance charging a 4s 10,000mah at 10A on both would take:

2 hours on the Turnigy and 1 hour on the Imax.

Would need a wattage of 168w regardless of amperage to do it ;)

Also. Depending on what you're charging the Turnigy could be flat out all the time and lessen it's life span. The Imax may only be running at 50% meaning cooler quieter and longer lasting unit. It's a win win.

      Even a single 10,000mah 2s ideally wants 84w doing the numbers ;)

When will folk really understand wattage in relation to charging?? Derka sorted this back in Feb when he compiled a list of wattage requirements for various lipos....and let's be honest Daz, we keep pushing the point between us ;)

  19. dont forget the tunes on your walk
  20. Walking/jogging is a good steer, easy, can do it anytime and you can pop on some good songs to keep you entertained. Guns is bang on with the simplicity, the hardest bit is getting your head around what needs to be done. Motivation- maybe a pic of yourself now , next to one of you when you were slimmer. on the fridge door. NEVER skip breakfast and dont start crash dieting, your metabolism will go into starvation mode. write down what you eat for a week and you'll spot obvious things you can tweak. think of things you can swap out that are better for you (but you still enjoy eating) Try and increase your water intake too, its generally really good for you and will slow down your digestion a little, which means you will feel hungry a little less often. Remember you unique, its about finding out what works for you . keep us posted on your mission
  21. CB you gonna beef up those chassis braces ? they look like a weak spot on a nice rig
  22. Do it, LSTs can run 5 and 6s no problem
  23. my fleet is all used bar one, which was my first one coming back to the hobby. I'll look at a Maxx in a few years when there are a few mods out for them and they are easy to get on the used market. Having bashed alongside Joel's beast I can see its a real gigglemobile. Fills a nice gap for folks that want to move on from 8th scale but not the budget and running costs/space of 5th
