  5. Bought during lockdown and only used a handful of times. Last run a week ago which was faultless running for two hours. Full Traxxas light kit and custom painted purple LED rock lights. Standard handset. This is a standard truck apart from the following; 6x Beadlock wheels sprayed purple Fake Hyrax Tyres XT90 connector Body trimmed on the front for clearance and different from bumper. Sides of the body trimmed for less catching Rear body cut for different bumper mount (mount not included) Mechanically there is a chipped gear in the main transmission since I bought it. It was chipped and you can hear it clicking but the tooth only had minor chip in a tooth so didn't bother replacing. Can't remember which gear it is, but it does it in 1st and 2nd gear. Knocked £50 off the asking price to reflect this. £600 posted ONO. PayPal please cover the fee
  6. I've gone off eBay for selling due to their seller final values fee's of 12.8% + 30p. It's a fair chunk to lose on say £650 posted, I lose £83.50! I'd rather sell on here or Facebook...
  7. In lockdown I treat myself to a new Xmaxx from Modelsport. It's an amazing truck and puts a smile on my face when I use it. Problem is, it's only had 4-5 battery packs through it in over a year and it mainly is taking up space and while it costs nothing to keep I am wanting to clear off some debt so I think it has to go. I still have a 6s Kraton for bashing which also has only a couple of packs through it also. 🙄 Question is, how much is it worth? It's a fully stock 8s Xmaxx. Can include two 4s packs if collected. Edit, it's not stock. I changed the connectors to XT90 .
  8. Sorry should of made it clearer. New they are 20 quid a pair. I'm selling these for £30 posted for both pairs. Never used.
  9. Schumacher SST MINI PIN 20 - YELLOW (PR) Ideal for carpet touring car or just bashing with. £7 posted
  10. Bought this new from Modelsport for speed runs. Only completed a few and then sat on the shelf. Its Bluetooth and connects to your phone and can record max speed, drag racing times and flying modes. Very accurate device. Small and easy to mount. Requires a USB cable to charge. Think its Micro USB port. Looking for £35 posted.
  11. Bought these for my Typhon but sold it before even using these. These are brand new and never been used or even put on a model Ideal for speed runs. 95mm diamter. 17mm Hex. £20 a pair new, looking for £30 posted.
  12. For sale is my Serpent SRX4 Gen 3. This is the current 4wd off-road buggy from Serpent that was released a few months ago. I bought this buggy brand new and it's only three meetings old (1 hour of use indoors on carpet). I am only selling this one as I am going to just concentrate on 2wd buggy as my local track is small and technical and suits 2wd better. There are some new in packet front wishbones and some different Ackerman arms included as well as a rear anti-roll bar set. The front has an option 1.8mm anti-roll bar and the rear is 1.7mm. Other than that the buggy is standard and built as per the manual but with 2 degree rear toe in Vs kit 3. I also removed the body posts from the chassis sides as I used velcro. Unfortunately I made a poor job of using a body reamer tool on the bodyshell and the holes are messy but perfectly fine. Bodyshell is also taped on the inside to protect the body from paint rubbing. All the tuning parts are included, wing mount angles, diff height adjusters etc. See pictures. Manual is on a credit card sized USB stick. Comes with a velcro bodyshell that I had personally painted, original box and a new set of Schumacher mini spike front and rear wheels. This buggy runs very smooth and shares the rear end with the Serpent 2wd buggy, the SRX2 Gen 3. Any questions please ask before buying, happy to discuss anything. You will need your own electrics as this is just for the rolling chassis. Looking for £sold posted within the UK ono Post images is saying internal error and cannot upload images with direct links. 13. Anyone running one of these at club level? What are they like for parts from UK shops?
  14. That's for you to plug in additional fans for the motor. To use a program card, you must connect it directly into that 3-pin socket on the ESC. The card won't work if you plug it into the splitter you have circled.
  15. The RTR servo isn't amazing but the slack is coming from the servo saver. There is only small movement of the servo where it mounts, the rest is the servo saver. I bought two new springs and both do the same, it's just amplified with the Kraton due to longer arms and bigger wheels compared to the Typhon.
  16. I've bought a c clip assortment with tool. 👍
  17. Not adjustable on the v5...
  18. Third time out with the Kraton 6s, getting it dialed in. Great truck. My problem is the poor steering. Originally I thought it was the Spektrum servo, but nope. It's actually the servo saver spring. Looked at options and discovered Arrma do a X-Hard spring which is standard on the Exb line. I thought that would be that, but after swapping out the springs, it's still an awfully weak spring for a Kraton. Maybe get away with it in my Typhon with smaller wheels. What is the go to upgrade to solve this? It has awful steering angle due to the spring being so weak. I can't understand how it's such a popular model line shipped out with a spring that's so weak it literally has no steering at any speed.
