  1. Hey Guys picked one of these up cheap, rwd, rear motor. Anyone any experience in drifitng them? Looking for some tips on set ups. Im running a brushless, sensored 10.5t motor, Programmable ESC, Lipo. Also typical tamiya the chassis is slopey.. any one any idea where to shim? and what sizes? cheers.
  2. It works really well, the pic is quit misleading if im honest.

  4. Hey guys thought this might be of interest. This track has opened up every thursday night from 6pm - 9.30pm
  5. After getting into Drifting i had an old tt-01 chassis and have got it sliding. After making it slide i took to making it look nice. Wanted to build something a little different and like the idea of a hyper drift car, so building commmenced. Let me know your thoughts, this is my first painted shell. and im pretty happy with the outcome. and already looking for the next one to build. its slightly addictive. Made a few accessories the R34 shell, It was the shell which came with the chassis 8 years ago... so I only customised it I didnt paint it. A custom roof box for the Audi, inspired by Jon Ollsens Audi R8 visited my local track here in Scotland, Status Error the clothing brand has built a track and has recently opened, love the track its quite small but technical. Great fun to learn on as this was my second time at drifting on a track. I think im hooked. Im buying an mst ms01 chassis from a friend, im guessing thats when the fun will really start. With mods and a chassis I can really learn and grow with. Thanks guys
  6. We have static models and the owner of the company has plenty in his office. We are a commercial vehicle company and build Crane Trucks. it would be awesome to make a working R/C Crane Truck, there is on on youtube and its amazing! the details working crane etc.
  7. i flipping love this!! i work for a commercial vehicle company and would love to build one of these as a show piece for the company. would be amazing!
  8. nice one! is that a yokomo er34? the quality looks really good.
  9. Loving the details in the R34... like the Lip on the front splitter and the lower grills.. are they decals? or painted?
  10. Im new here so be nice, this was an old touring car i had years ago.. now rebuilding the chassis for drifting. but havent got myself a new look/shell yet. Heres how it stands. Sorry about the poor pic.
  11. Has to be a Cop GTR that would look awesome with a working light bar sliding on a track chasing someone down!!
  12. Bought a one way diff, Bought New Li-po Battery connectors, Bought New MSD Shocks, Bought an alloy Drive shaft... No im waiting on them to be delivered so I can finish my build!
  13. Have just done the same and joined up... im running an 8 year old tt-01 chassis which i gave away to a family member years ago. Didn't realise i would be able to make it slide. Ive bought a few mods, HPI Drift tyres, ballrace kit, new sensorless motor, esc, lip battery and new charger. and also a locked rear diff. its amazing how many mods you can get for this chassis. but i do wonder why when you can buy a more capable chassis for the same kind of money. thanks for the advice ill definitely be using it and cant wait to get my car sliding. I attended a test night at a local RC drift track and its safe to say im hooked! ha ha. Graham. I had my chassis stripped and cleaned over the last few days and put it back together again last night and remember the front diff having a bearing, then a plastic spacer (same size as the bearing) then another bearing and the cog. ill try attaching a pic but im new so not sure if im able.
