Just put a new alturn steering servo on my lads e firestorm 10t as i thought the original was knackered but its having the same prob as the original one and not holding full lock and spazing out when trying to steer. I've connected it and the old one to another car and both work fine. Is the reciever broke? Or anything i can do without spending yet more on it. Thanks

Hi, my son has the firestorm 10t and wants to upgrade to brushless. What would be a decent upgrade and where's best to get it from? I have the flux 2015 model and was thinking of trying 3s. Is there a battery you'd recommend and is there anything else to consider before doing so. Thanks

I think my lads servo is dying. Ive tightened the servo saver up and checked everythings connected right bit it still struggling with right turns. Any ideas? Decent upgrades? Thanks

After having such fun with my lad and the 10t I decided I needed a flux to join in. Awesome cars, very happy with it. Is there anything I can do to the 10t setupwise to make it wheelie?

Had another look tonight, it runs but the motor smells burnt out. Hes used it an hour a day max. Going to ring modelsport tomorrow to see what they can do

Right, the car still runs full speed in reverse but 50% forwards! Any ideas? Thanks

I'll call them tomorrow then. To be honest its slower on 2s than the 8.4 nimh. How can I find if the transmissions binding?

My lads 10t has suddenly started running very slow. Has he cooked the motor or esc? Hes only had it 3 weeks, do these things come with warranty?

I knew I read in various forums that goiing to lipo increased performance. In our case its marginal. As I said I'm totally new to rc cars, its my eight year olds, lol. Does going to brushless give big gains then?

Hi, my lads got a standard e firestorm. I ordered him a 2s lipo and I think i've set the esc correct, 2 beeps. It doesnt seem any faster than the 8.4 v nimh? Is that right? Will the lipo just last longer?

I love the look of the savage hp but think its too much for what I want. The thunder tiger looks good that someone suggested and I like the look of the trophy and bullet models. The firestorm flux would make sense for familiarity with my lads and sharing parts but wouldnt mind something a bit different so he doesnt feel like his isnt that good.

Cheers for your help. I liked the savage xp but realised its quite small. Think hp is probably too much with all the batteries I'll need. I've got an overlander charger allready, so it'll be the car and a few batteries.

Hi, I recently bought my 8 year old his first decent car an e firestorm and I think I've caught the bug! In standard form its not fast enough for me, though we haven't tried lipo yet. Could anyone recommend something fast and tough so I can bash around with him? Was looking at the firestorm flux, the savage trucks options and some of the traxxas stuff. Theres so much choice. I want to run it on various surfaces not interested in racing. Big jumps, good run times, tough as poss etc.. Just good fun. Budget between 250 - 600. Thanks

Hi, I've recently bought my son a e firestorm and a decent overlander charger. I've been trying to read up and take in all the info in the various guides but I've confused myself more!! I get the charging but what settings do you use to discharge and cycle the nimh. How often should this be done? The batteries in question are 8.4v 2000mah and 3300mah. Thanks.

Thanks for your help folks, I have a very happy 8 year old. Top car the firestorm. I got him a 3300 battery and a decent charger aswell and quite impressed with the run time.

Hi, my lad would like his first proper rc car for his birthday but I have no idea what to get. He's had other basic cars before, the best being a vaporizor thing last xmas but is bored of that after seeing his older mates cars.
