  1. Now the red and green lights on my mtx 242 are flashing
  2. Thanks for the reply. I'm not 100% sure but I think it's the MTX 242. I have turned the end point dial (I think) but had no luck.
  3. Hi all, I'm looking for some help with my Maverick. Its been a bout a year since I used it and when I did I realised why I had put it away. It had stopped turning left. I initially thought it was the steering assembly so it took that off and had a look but all was well. It was then that I realised that the servo wasn't turning in two directions. Only the one. I took off the 'servo arm'? And repositioned it to check if it had jumped some teeth and was at the end of its travel. But no joy with that either. I reversed the direction on the remote and it moved in the other direction but not the opposite (hope that makes sense.) Anyway, cut a long story short. It appears that the remote may be at fault as when the servo doesn't move at all when the wheel on the remote is twisted 'forwards'. Is this a known issue by any chance? Thanks in advance.

Haha! I did not mean to put this as a status update.I was trying to search for Tamiya.

  5. Oh really? May have to get myself a little soldering kit and a few ec3 connectors then. Could you recommend a soldering kit please?
  6. Well I have a rc that has tamiya connectors as well as a spare battery and a fast charger. I am looking at a new rc that uses ec3 connectors. I was wondering would it be ok for me to buy a couple of adapters to use a combination of my current batteries and charger with the new car. So my current batteries have female tamiya ends and my charger and car has a male end. I believe the new battery will have a male end and the car has a female end. So to run my current batteries I think I would need a male tamiya to male ec3? And to charge the new battery I would need female ec3 to female tamiya? Is this right? Another question, would this make me lose power and the best option would be to cut all the ends off the cables and solder the same connectors on all cables? Thanks!
  7. Thanks capri-boy and OP! I really like the silvia and can get it for
  8. Looks awesome! Would you say it is decent as it is out of the box? I.e would a beginner enjoy it or would they beed the hop ups you mentioned?
  9. Hi, I've always wanted to start having a go at rc and quite recently I have. I picked up a brushed Maverick Strada MT. I know it may not be the fastest or the most robust but I love it! Luckily I have a bit of open grassy hilly area near my house so I can take it out there and have a blast. I've already started looking at a drift car and came across the Tamiya TT-01 range. I understand there are quite a lot of shells for this and that they are of actual cars as opposed to generic car/buggy shapes that you find sometimes. I'm also very keen on it as it's one of the few build your own that I have come across (probably loads of different ones), ths is something that i really want to try out. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and thanks for the help that I've found on here already. Cheers, Mo
