  1. After briefly dipping back into the hobby, it's clear that I just don't have time for it. So, my Hyper 7 is up for sale. Runs great, is easy to start (if you know what you're doing) and is tough as old boots. I can throw in a glow starter if needed (you'll need your own charger for it)

    Any questions, please ask.

The price includes postage but buyer cover PP fees.

    £130 inc. Postage

What gearing, 46/13? Is it a 21 or 28 engine? Try a larger clutch bell if you want more top speed, Nitro hasnt got the low down torque but top speed isnt far off typical brushless combo that will run all day without overheating.

I'm not sure on the gearing. Same on the engine, I've had it out but can't find any markings other than a couple of Hot Bodies stickers. I've noticed the revs "hang" when releasing the throttle from full speed.

I pulled the centre diff out last night and found it was bone dry. No trace of oil whatsoever. It's the upgraded spider diff though, which is nice. I've filled it with 10k now, and will do the front and rear before the next run.

Cant beat the sound and smell of a nitro, once you get the tuning dialled in it will wake it up a lot

If I go any leaner on the HSN it bogs down at full throttle. Does that mean it's as fast as it's ever going to be on this engine? Still plenty of smoke at full throttle,  so I assume it isn't TOO lean

  4. The Hyper 7 arrived with a dodgy servo, so I  temporarily fitted a cheapo one from my old Maverick Strada for steering duties. Took it out for it's first run today.  It still feels slow compared to my old 4s bashers, but considering I've never really been into nitro, I'm quite happy with how I've got it running 🙂

  5. Long time since I've posted on the forum. To be honest, my rc's haven't got a look in since getting back in a bike so it's time to have a bit of a clear out.

First up is an UltraPower UP100AC smart charger. 1-6s Lipo, up to 10a charge rate. It's a great little touch screen charger which has been a pleasure to use. Includes all leads and adapters pictured below.

Here's a link with the full spec -

Next up is a 3s Volt 4000mah 50C lipo. Signs of use on the case but nothing out of the ordinary. Always storage charged after use, I've included a pic of the individual cells. Purchased from MakeItBuildIt for £35 plus postage.

Another lipo, this time an 3s 5200mah 80C Zeee. This has had very little use and the condition of the case reflects that. Still for sale on Amazon at £35.99.

    Dimensions: 138 x 47 x 37mm.

2x Flysky/Turnigy FS-iA6B receivers. I used these in my speed run build and in my Savage. Excellent range when paired with a Flysky GT5 radio! Will bind to other radios but you'll have to do your own research.

Dynamite Speedpack 2 3300 8.4v NIMH. I changed the connector to an xt60 never actually used it, so it's still as new other than the connector.

I'd be happy to combine postage on multiple items. Thanks for looking 🙂

  6. GoPro Hero 7 Black with loads of accessories including 2x batteries, 64gb memory card, chest harness, loads of sticky mounts, etc. I'll even throw in the storage case.

This camera works perfectly and has never given me any issues. The only reason I'm selling is because I fancy giving a 360 camera a go for trackday footage.

£230 inc. p&p and pp fees.

*Price drop to get this gone - £210 all-in!*

Hi all.  I’ve recently started following this thread.  I got my son a FTX Tracer (brushless).  So far I’ve only upgraded the rear diff cups to metal.  Most of the metal parts are out of stock so I can’t even do the oil filled shocks yet.

Something I was curious about was whether anyone has upgraded the servo on the brushless version to something better?

@everclear1984I can’t PM you yet, but I’d like a battery tray if you’re still offering them up. 🙂

    Nino

Sorry, I haven't been on the forum much lately. I sent you a message and it seemed to go through ok. If for some reason you can't reply just let me know and I'll post it here 🙂

Hello all... I'm new to the forum and found it while looking for info on the FTX Tracer.

I may have been swayed towards the HBX Pro now! Does anyone have any idea how long delivery might take to the UK?

And is everclear's battery tray still available to purchase anywhere? I'm keen to add a little more run time with a bigger battery.

    Thanks!

Shoot me a PM if you need a battery tray. I removed them from eBay as is it just wasn't cost effective.

    Hi All,

Looks like I burnt out my servo and need to replace, been doing a bit of reading but not entirely sure what servo I should be gunning for, can anyone recommend one?  From what I read a 15kg one will do but I am more wondering if anyone has a brand preference.  I was gonna go for one from banggood but I think impatience might get the better of me and will order one from bezos 😄 but none of the ones on amazon look particularly great?
