I'm really fancying the 16890 Pro myself. Both of our Tracers and still bone stock other than the battery tray and they've proven tough little beasts, but I think the kids are ready for more poweeeer lol

I just don't get the fascination with the Mini Z platform. They just seem massively overpriced to me but people go nuts for them?!

I'm not 100% sure why but I ended up drifting towards the curb and clipped it. After many rolls it ended up on it's wheels. The shell isn't awful, probably not particularly aerodynamic now though 😄The wheels are fine, just very minor scuffs on the rim.

Took the Strada out today to a new location I've been wanting to try out. Mixed results.... The location was nice and quiet, I didn't see another car the entire time I was there. The road surface was excellent but unfortunately my preferred way of running means I'm driving uphill. First run of the year so I wasn't expecting much, to my surprise I managed 92mph with ease!! Oh, and I crashed it at 70ish mph 🤣 No damage done other than to the body which I've been putting off replacing anyway. Video to come 🙂

This can mean only one thing.... the Strada is coming back out to play!! I've been checking it over the tyres seem to be the only cause for concern. So, new ones on and she's ready to go! 😁 Old Old vs new I'll update after I've ran it 🙂

Bump and price drop

£50 posted, buyer pays fees NOW £45! FTX COMET with Hobbywing 1060 esc, FTX Carnage radio gear and metal geared servo. Includes 800mah Li-Ion battery. This has only been ran a couple of times. I'm not a fan of FIX combined esc/rx's so I switched it out immediately. Note - I cut two small grooves in the battery door/chassis (pictured) to fit a velcro strap and run a much larger WLTOYS 2700mah lipo (lipo not included in the sale). This does not affect the way car functions at all. In the pics it still has the XT60 connector fitted but this has now been switched back to Deans.

Stock I was running 20wt. When I filed a flat on the pistons I removed too much material so now I'm running 45wt to compensate. I'm finally happy with how the shocks are running 👍

Good info, thanks. I have the MERV for crazy speeds, I'd like to keep the speed modest on the Tracers so that kids can't get carried away. I think 2 teeth more on the pinion would do it but I guess that isn't an option 🤔

Batteries on charge! Can't wait to get this little lot out! Can anyone tell me whether the motor mount is adjustable? I feel like they need a little more speed and I'm hoping I can just fit a bigger opinion. I'd rather not go brushless if I can avoid it.
