      Three signs you can see. 1.The printing on the cables is poor and no heat rating.

      2.The cable shroud is too tall.

      3. Comma on the rpm is in the wrong place.

      4. The box is an old design from a combo pack, not necessarily fake but likely.

      5. Can't see on this one but the motor ID printing is probably upside down.

    I'm getting old. Buy a 900 Hornet...and what do I do. I fit a centre stand and mudguard extender. One upon a time it would have been loud pipes and a bellypan. I'll be telling kids how things were different in my day next!

    could anyone tell me if the hpi blur flux be ok in a firestorm? or would that just be overkill?

      The firestorm is 2/3s and the blur is wired for series 4/6s. So you'd need to use a deans loop or resolder it all.

      It only needs 80A ESC, so yeah a bit much. And you have short out one of the deans. So not ideal really.

      Can't find any UNC kits, all I can find is metric equivalents that could damage some threads. I did find a list though.

      I'd use 12.9 HT on stressed areas, but A4 (316) stainless is ok generally, similar to 8.8 HT. A2 grade is quite soft, not really good enough and what you get in most of the kits unfortunately.

    First hands on look at the Yeti XL today... I'm surprised, I expected lots of slop and cheap plastics, IMO it looks a beast! Shame about the price tag though, still too much money.

      Depends, some can be a few days. Others I've had take weeks. I find generally they're painfully slow overall.
