I get most things from microtech racing and have never been let down, they are excellent!! But so is modelsport but it a shame they dont do much for the cars i race. I have aslo bought from demon products which id v good and bolton model mart. The only bad thing i have experienced was with apex as i ordered a spare that i needed and never seen it for around 2 months, i even had to cancel the order cus i couldn't be bothered being told theyl be in next week again!

I run a yokomo bd and i wouldn't recommend it to be honest, i race on foams basically all the time so i don't know about rubbers but they seem to be hard to set up. By this i mean they don't turn!!!!! lol its not too bad but when it comes to the twisty stuff other cars seem to have the advantage. In my opinion i would say wait for the mi3 as it will be alot better than the ec and the extra money spent will be worth it, plus the spares are easy to get for schumachers as they are an english company and xrays spares seem to have a higher price tag.

i would go for the venom pack iv used them for years and they are the best for the money, they fit excellent in the holder for the hyper 7 just tie wrap them in place

there is one for rc use i got one off ebay and when you fill with degreaser it great for cleaning bearings etc

i have been looking at micro trucks/buggies to race as a change from 1/10th and was wondering what everyone thinks are the best? iv looked at the xray truck and the blaze and the associated buggy what do people think of these?

i would say a better way is for the same price he could get the nosram speedo £35 and a decent 19t motor for £32 which i rekon would be a better option than just a more expensive speedo and would make the car faster as the speedo needs a decent motor and batteries to make a difference.

You should look at this - nosram hawk power reverse This is a excellent speedo for the money and should be faster, but it is only up to 15t so might not be a good idea to use your 11t. But to be honest a decent 19t motor with the right gearing will probably beat your brother easily.

if you seen smoke then sounds like you have frazzled your speedo and this can't be fixed, it happened to me twice in the past month and iv sent mine back though. to unstick brushes you get hold of brush wire and pull so that the brush is liffted a few mm's then let go so it get pinged back into place, a squirt of degreaser helps aswell.
