  1. Yeah there's one this weekend at Black Rocks in Matlock. The boys on the UK Scaler FB page have been organising it.
  2. It's been a while since I updated this - been so busy with the party season and all! Anyway, in the last couple of weeks I've had a few treats turn up... Some Vanquish high steer kit (drag links, knuckles and c-hubs) Axial unis to get as much steering throw as poss GPM wide hex hubs (just in case the VP knuckles rub on the tyres (which I'm told WILL happen) Some springs for shock tuning 2 HR lockers - these were dead cheap and Banners tells me they work a treat 2 HR shackle mounts for use with my Wert bumper should I ever use it on another body I'll get around to installing them all hopefully before I go back to work in the new year. Merry Christmas peeps.
  3. I'm not sure if it's been deliberately fixed, but I'm now getting Tapatalk notifications once again - Merry Christmas!
  4. Steering upgrades ordered, taking advantage of some Black Friday madness. http://www.vanquishproducts.com/axial-scx10-8-degree-knuckles-black-anodized/ http://www.vanquishproducts.com/axial-scx10-8-degree-c-hubs-black-anodized/ http://www.vanquishproducts.com/currie-scx-8-degree-titanium-tie-rod-drag-link/
  5. Yeah Arnie's the star of the show Maybe I need to update the front pic to something featuring him... hmm.
  6. Again, refer to the manual. I don't quite recall, but I think you tighten it all the way down, then back it off a quarter of a turn or something. I'm not 100% as I have the Robinson Gen 3 slipper unit in mine, and I clamped mine all the way down.
  7. Can't believe it was assembled that way - RTFM
  8. Nope. One side is sticky, the other side should be an orange gasket material type stuff. I can see hints of it in the pic.
  9. It was a brill day at Linacre with a nice turn out. Check out some pics:
  10. Linacre Reservoir gave Mud Pig a right spanking today, what with a broken knuckle and scale accessories being scattered to the wind. Fantastic place though, quite possibly my favourite as it's good for whatever car you decide to run there. Back to the scale accessories... what a pain in the behind! They look great for pics, but soon become an annoyance when flying off everywhere. I think it's time to get the cable ties out or screw them in place. And if neither applies, then off they come. The KLR tyres are awesome, particularly for getting up hills. They didn't need any breaking in really, not seeing as our terrain wasn't actually hot rocks and dust, but instead water and mud. Money well spent there. And the greatest thing about today, I now get a buy some VP knuckles
  11. So this Sunday in Chesterfield looks to be a bright one, and it looks like we've got a good group for it too :D
  12. Is the final call on Tapatalk push notifications that the functionality is gone? If that's a "yes", i can stop banging on about it and get used to email alerts again.
  13. So the Axial 94mm unis are 3.4mm - I just measured those ones I buckled. My GPM ones are 4.4mm. To be honest, for $65 I can't see me getting these, as my GPM ones have proven rock solid. And yeah, VP knuckles use the same bearings as stock.
  14. I did mate, aye. I didn't want the faff of shimming this one up and AT didn't have another black one for a direct replacement - just a bright orange one that'd have looked bonkers on my Yeti.
  15. Prepare for a really dirty image, one that WILL offend some of the more sensitive amongst us... http://www.vanquishproducts.com/yeti-score-vvd-v1-hd/
  16. I mentioned this after the initial upgrade. The previous posts on my build threads all have huge spacing in them now, makes them look a bit bonkers.
  17. Hmm, that sucks a bit then, as it never fired up after the last update.
  18. Yep I can now browse with it. I don't think push notifications are yet though.
  19. Tapatalk push notifications never did start working again. It'd be great to have that back.
  20. Just in case anyone wants it, I'm selling off the bulkhead here: http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/212517-gpm-yeti-ally-bulkhead/
  21. Yeti XL Ti King Pins £4 posted. Another YXL part bought by accident ;(
  22. Yeti XL Bellcranks £8 posted. Bought these 2 by accident, I meant to get the normal yeti sized ones - fail. One is opened as I did that before i realised they were a tad too big!
  23. £15 posted. Ring gear and other internals not included.
