Thanks for all the good advice i double checked all the settings and they are what have been posted,After doing this it ran a bit better and not so fast but it was still running fast enough to keep the clutch engaged. So i was getting fed up with it and went mad and undid the idle screw all the way so there was no gap and tryed to start the engine,And to my surprise it started and ran but not as fast as before so i thought what have i done in between undoing the screw and starting?? The only thing i did was turn the radio gear on (there was no trim set) so i thought that could not have opened the carb,To check i looked down the carb. with radio off and there was no gap turn it on and worked the throttle a bit to make sure it moved and a gap appeared I watched what was happening and the spring on the throttle link was pushing the servo so this would create a gap. Not sure if the servo has worn out or just needs adjusting problem is i only saw this happening just before the battery died so have not been able to try and fix it yet will have another go tommorrow. I'm a bit more pleased now that the engine might not be broke and just needs a servo or adjustment and maybe a bit more fine tuneing. Thanks again for the top advice Bigsi

I have taken the HSN out to 3 turns the gap on the carb is roughly 1mm. I have read and re-read the tuneing guides and think every thing is were it should be but still no luck it just revs like mad. Thanks Bigsi

I am having problems with my engine in my hyper the engine is a Thunder Tiger Pro 28. The engine was running fine when i stored it away got it out about a month ago and had problems with it cutting out. While investigating this i noticed that the clutch had fell apart so fixed that. The problem now is that the engine just revs really fast no matter where the tuning is set. I am confidant that it is all set back to factory settings and the idle speed gap is set correctly there is no trim added either. I have checked to see if there is an air leak by covering up the carb intake and it just stops dead so no air leak. Anyone have any more ideas? Because i'm stumped and getting p'ed off . I have no cash to get a new engine so this looks like it could be the end of the hyper for a while and could spend the rest of its life living in the shed or bin So can you help to stop me from throwing it away because that's what i fell like doing now. Thanks for the reply i did meen the one from the tank to the engine it sits at the top of the tank and once the fuel fell just below that it would cut out only thats why i was gettin confused as there is loads of fuel left in the tank but it was stopping it never even crossed my mind that there is a tube inside the tank going to the bottom that could be broken Unfortunatly i have not got time to take a look now of to a family bbq will have to wait till next weekend Thanks Bigsi

Hi all, I took the Hyper 7 out today for the first time in a few weeks and it's developed a problem.The last time i had it out it was fine but today every time the fuel went below the supply nipple it would cut out.I checked that it was tuned proplery it would run perfectly for a few mins then would cut out after a few attempts the only thing i noticed different was that the fuel level had droped below the nipple filled it back up and it would run fine till the fuel dropped. So there is the problem full fuel runs fine drops just below nipple stops.Any surgestions on what could be causeing this? I have checked the fuel pipes are not split,i can't see a hole in the tank,the tank lid seems to be sealing.These are the only things i could think of checking that might be causeing this problem. Hopefully the more people that listen or just open up the player will give the bbc a better listening figures and they will be more inclined to do more live commentrys good for Ice Hockey fans Its just like viewing figures on t.v more people watch a programme the more of that programme they will make

Jump as high as you can lots of fun.I have broken more things on my hyper from small jumps and running into things than i have from jumping high. Me and my mate were at the local track and he wanted to get some video of it doing some jumps so he stood near the biggest jump with his camera,I wanted to make it look good so i really gave it some over this jump but got the angle a bit wrong and it headed straight towards my mate but i could see it was going over his head (it was about 8ft high) i landed safely and ran over to him saying "hope you have that on tape",His reply was DAMN NO I WAS WORRIED FOR MY FACE (cleaned up for family forum) These are strong cars and only seem to damage if they land or hit something at weird angles Have fun Bigsi

Hi, I have been clearing out my bed room and i have found some old official football programmes i remember sending of for these from Match football Magazine when i was at school and before i found the great sport .They are all from the late 80's early 90's There is nine in total all good condition and from different clubs.There is one or two that stands out as its a Chelsea v Tottenham and it says on the front its a 80th anniversary special edition.The other is a Sheffield derby game in the Zenith Data Systems Cup 2nd Round Northern Section.(never heard of this comp.) After that long opening basicly my question is were do you think the best place to sell these would be im guessing people collect old programmes would it be on e-bay or is there some where more specific. I want to put some bigger/better looking wheels and tyres on my Thunder Tiger ssk but i have a problem so i thought i would ask you knowledgeable people The wheels tyres im looking at are made by pro-line i think they are called 40 series with moab tyres but the problem i have is the hex size, on my ssk its 12mm but the pro-lines are 24mm .Is there an adapter to make these fit?Can you get good looking 12mm hex wheels?(i've had a look and can't find many). Thank you for any help/info/abuse/anything. Bigsi

I had the same problem with the ssk i just brought (exhaust hitting wheel on right turns) all i did was cut the cable ties on the rubber bit of the exhaust and push the metal bits closer together and re-cabled tied,It worked for me no longer hits the wheel It also had a problem with the grub screw that holds the rear drive shaft to the diff output shaft comeing loose all the time so it would try to put all the power through the front wheels i just took them out put lock tight on them and havent had a problem with that know. The only problem i have know is i cant do the screws that hold the engine still up enough so the engine moves and strips the plastic spur gear Will need further investigation on how to stop this when i have time Bigsi

My girlfriends nephew built this monster truck from one of those monthly magazines and it cost him nearly 600 pounds,£5.99 a month.Must be the most expensive way to buy a R/C He has just turned 18 and was desperate for some cash so decieded to sell his truck so i brought it off him for 80 quid but im not sure what model it is so dont no how to get parts for it,On the magazine it says in association with Thunder Tiger and it has a Thunder Tiger pro 15 engine in it. I hope the pics work Does anyone have any idea what it is??? Not to botherd if its a cheep rip off just want to know so i have some idea for parts in the future Bigsi

I traded my 360 for the ps3 the day after they came out and to be honest im a little bit dissapointed but i have a good idea that things will get better. All ready the ps3 can up-scale dvds to hd 360 cant Home for ps3 looks like its going to be a major on-line break through when it comes out If i could travel back in time i proberly would of keepet my 360 for longer and waited till the ps3 got more games and on-line services like the 360 I know its surposed to be a games console but as a dvd/blu-ray player for my bed room i love it and with up-scaling i have had to watch all my dvds over again HD is brilliant Bigsi

Hi, It was my birthday yesterday and i got £145 cash and its burning a whole in my pocket,But i dont no what to spend it on I dont need anything in perticular i.e clothes or stuff I was looking at 5.1 surrond sound systems but it would be to loud for my bedroom I was also looking at something r/c related not sure if i should upgrade what i got or get something new i fancy building something (kit form) but not alot you can get for £145 i know r/c talk not alowed in here feel free to pm me with ideas If you had this cash what would you spend it on might give me some ideas on what to get Thanks for any sergestions even if its just stick it in the bank till you see something you want/need Bigsi
