  1. Hi I Just got of a Xray Chassis via fleabay to see how it goes. Where is the best place (company) for parts, service, fast reliable delivery etc... in the UK. I am used to just going to the Schumacher site and ordering what I need. I need to get some spares before I race it and might want at few up grade parts.. Thanks oh and I did look at the other T4 thread and read several posts, it is very long now and wonders from one topic to the next..
  2. Maz you eat like a champion, you must be well advised.
  3. I am new to all this so apologies, still learning.... I bought a new clear shell from a reputable seller - it is a protoform mazda 6 light weight - sent it off to be painted. The approved wing is included with the shell. Bought a cheap shell from Ebay - with no sticker in but is 1/10 190mm - but does not fit, can not fit, would have to trim the shell right down and cut the arches really high.. it was a generic cheap shell, just to use until I got mine back. The wing is not the approved type and I would have to make something to mount the approved wing - it was not listed as approved and is no use for the intention I plan to use it. So as posted >I need a shell as it is to be used in carpet racing or on road, I wont get one and get it painted before I want to use the car again all the race car shells look very similar at the club and they all fit... x rays, Schumacher etc.. If you have one to sell please contact me - many thanks :-)
  4. in the sales section I posted - wanted brca painted shell to fit my 1/10 - 190mm Mi Schmaucher touring car, as I have been sent a non approved one, and I sent my spare one to be painted and it will be 10days until it comes back... if you can help please pm - with photo and price... I like bright but plain colours with less stickers the better but either way if you have a very tidy shell you want to sell? please PM http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/196302-wanted-110-190mm-brca-approved-touring-car-body-shell/
  5. I need a body shell (to fit my Mi Schumacher touring car) That's painted to an acceptable standard with the correct paint, I might even buy 2 if they are available at the right price and I like them - I like quite bright but plain paint with few stickers but I need one to get me out the poo for practice... I have received one that is not approved and it does not fit due to height differences, so have sent my brca clear shell to be painted with a 10day wait... if anyone can help - please PM with image and price Many thanks :-)
  6. I won't be watching it unless by chance... I hope they win but have my doubts, sorry - when I was younger and did the pub tv thing, have seen them mess it up too many times and same excuses each time, gets a bit boring like listening to politicians. I hope they prove me wrong but I will always have much more respect for the Olympics. I wish I paid more attention to that.
  7. The same reason I choose Schumacher, parts availability (they are less than 45mins away too). If I damage something I know I will get my bits in time to make the next event. Plus lots of guys at the club run them - so help is at hand for set-up and parts lending. I will be updating to the latest model when I am much more competent.
  8. I got my hauler bag but not my drive belts
  9. +1 Nothing, and I am waiting for my kit bag and several parts.. if it's not here soon my car wont be going out this Friday for it's first test run.. I cant make the next event either booo! rubbish post
  10. It's what freestyle mx riders do to correct for the landing, throttle= lift the front, brake the rear wheel = wheel nose down
  11. Attended the local club this week and paid to drive the hire car. I guess it went ok given the fact I have only used a RC car about 3 times in a car park, 20 years ago. I have my 1/10 car now and lots of parts to fit so I plan to get plenty of practice in. I hope at some stage I will be able to visit some of the other circuits around the country. I know some of the guys at our local club are competing at events like this. Plenty to learn hope to meet some of you at some point :-) Have also become a gold member here now, supporting the forum and appreciate any good advice that might help
  12. I got a motor speed controller, radio gear, charger, and other bits yest... today I hope to get a new battery and some service parts. Tonight I will be driving for the first time round a rc circuit
