I decided to just buy a Flysky GT5 and extra receivers as it worked out easiest , thanks for everyone's help.

Does anyone know what make this TX is? It's a 2.4ghz type that came with a Savage I bought second hand a few years back, and I swapped it out with a HPI TF40 off my other savage and my son used this unknown one with an RX that came with it and fitted it to his Emax . The Unknown RX failed after getting very wet and he took it out and lost it when he fitted a Frysky set, well I was wondering if anyone knows what make it is so I can see about getting another RX for it and use it on one of my other 1/8th nitros. I've searched and can't find any info on it and was hoping that someone here would know, or if there's a compatible RX that will bind to it, or should I just buy some other set to use.

Yes it is for the centre, the 5650 you said doesn't come with the steel swivels, but the 5151 on MSUK does. Also the front shaft on my sons truck seems shorter than the one in the 5650 kit.

Sorry, not got a pic of it, but it's the output yoke that the shaft bolts onto. Is part number 5151 the right one for the E Maxx as well?

My sons EMaxx is a 1/8 model, and i think its the long wheel base one, where the front centre shaft is only about 2 inches and the rear is about six or seven inches. None of the original type shafts on those sites show the correct length shafts. The only ones that look the right length are the steel cvd ones..

My sons got an EMaxx and he's broken the centre rear drive shaft, and i can't find a supplier that's got the right parts. I've purchased several different ones to see if they fit but no luck yet. I have managed to get the output flange which i think is right and that's part 4928x . Does anyone know a good supplier and where i can get a parts schematic. Cheers,, Jon..

Again you're missing the point.. And i'm not angry about "A Lot of things" , and it Certainly Isn't the hobby,, It's the lack of caring of a few organizations....

You're missing my point,, The waiting time is not the main problem,, The main problem is the lack of Honest communication and good customer service. If they don't have a part in stock but can get it in a few days or whenever they next place an order with their supplier,, Then fair enough,, But why Lie to you and then ignore all future communication with you /////,,,.....

As title says,, What's wrong with the suppliers of RC spares,, They just don't seem to give a damn.. I've already given the World my opinion of a certain supplier of RC spares that everyone knows,, And now i'm having trouble with another one. Been waiting over 3 weeks for spares from RCHobbyBox, who took over 2 weeks to reply to my request for an update on delivery, another 5 days to reply to my emails asking for a reason for the delay,, 3 days constant ringing before they finally answered their phone for them to tell me they'll find out off the Post Office what's happened to them,, Then they said they'll get some more sent out for delivery tomorrow,, Now they won't answer their phone again but instead sent me a text saying "We'll be in touch soon" , YEAH Right,, I've heard that before... I've only had good service from one supplier and that's SRI REMOTE TOYS Limited, Who went above and beyond the call of duty, (Even though they were the wrong parts, Which is my fault).. It seems to me the only reliable parts suppliers are fellow enthusiasts like the people on this forum,, Who have never let me down yet,, So Thank you all.

For the past 12 months i've had parcels going missing in transit,, And i've been receiving letters and parcels addressed to other people at different addresses.. It appears that to get a job working for Royal Mail delivering mail,, You don't have to be able to read,, Or write.. I have had to go and post the other peoples mail in their doors for them because the postman is too Illiterate to read the name and address on them before posting them in mine. Just this morning i've received 2 more parcels, Each to a different person at different addresses... But i've never received one of mine back from the other peoples addresses, (Clearly they aren't as honest as me) I've even had Court documents meant for me from my lawyer requiring a signature go missing... What are Royal Mail playing at, I've even gone to the sorting office anf told them about it and given them some of the parcels because i'm sick of doing their job for them,,, But they were posted back to me... What a joke Nitrotek are,, I ordered some parts for a ShegQi 1/5 scale Hummer 3 weeks ago, and they still haven't arrived. I paid by card online and received a reply saying they have been despached and will be here in around 3 days. Well 3 days came and went,, Then a week,, Then 10 days and nothing. So i contacted them by email and got no reply,, So i filed a complaint with them, and was told to expect a reply in 24 hrs.. Well 5 days later and still no reply,, so i contacted them again and finally got a reply asking me if the parts had arrived yet??? They said leave it a couple of days and they should be here,,, And guess what,, STILL NOTHING... It's now over 3 weeks since i ordered and still nothing,, Now they say they're sending me another set out,,, Well It's Too Late,, I've ordered them from SRI Remote Toys limited,, Ordered at 12 noon and even after having to change part of my order to get heavier duty parts as the original was out of stock,, They still arrived by 9am the next day,, Result...So Nitrotek can go and Suck My Tailpipe... And they are supposed to be the main supplier and seller of ShengQi RC's,,,,, Pathetic.....

Thanks for the replies,,The reason i asked is my son keeps frying 2.4ghz receivers because he won't seal them from water when he takes his buggy out. He's used 2 of my transmitters from my rc's (Without asking me) and ****ed the TX's. They were only cheap ones( Homoto and HPI ), but i can't find any replacements for them..

Can any make of receiver be bound to any transmitter ? Or has it got to be the same make and series?

Does any one know what type of pinion a Traxxas E Max uses? Is it a Mod 1, the same as my Savage?
