  1. Well it seems i now own a brushed carnage ( well most of one) to go with my firestorm . I say most of one cos it has no battery or esc only 2 wheels and a shell thats not only a bit damaged but split. Not so bad as it only cost me £20 from a lad at work. He couldnt be bothered sorting it so i thought what the hell. Now it has a brushed motor and i dont wanna use that i just want to pop a brushless set up in then get a couple of lipo's for it tehn go and abuse it int quarry near me. Needless to say i dont want to pay an huge amount for the bits so was thinking about a trackstar combo ...... can you guys give me any feedback on a set up you have for this truck ... please
  2. i went up on my bike when the snow was ere .. took my rc up as well but has way more fun sliding about on the bike trailing the grandkids on a sledge !!!!! That being said am looking to get up there for a bash in the near future with a fettled set up on the rc... and i am gutted for ya hebby not having an rc must be killing you.

  6. Had a few hours spare this afternoon (seeing as I was off work) and popped up to the quarry for a quick look had my rc with me and gotta say its a spot on site! Had all batteries charged and managed a good hour and half bashing before I broke it lol gotta say tho it drove well , rolled a couple of times and all after being submerged in a pool of really ***** brown water. That said it took a nasty side step off a jump and came to an abrupt stop on a hefty rock front o/s wheel took most of it along with the front bumper. O/s/f suspension arm has snapped where it meets the undertray and upper bumper mount has cracked but that looks about all, shall continue taking it apart and see if I find owt else....... Lol
  7. Aye been looking at truggys also ... Will pop some links up when I get a chance see what ya all think
  8. You say you don't see the point in spending more? Wait till you get hooked, and watch how that statement changes yeah i can well imagine !!! have to cross that bridge at a later date ha ha .... I am mainly gonna be off road, dirt tracks fields etc etc so i have been looking at monster trucks and that way i could still use on the odd occasion i can use flat surfaces. I have been wondering about getting a waterproofed model but not really sure if i could proof it myself if i dont ... any ideas guys. Also are there any ideas on which trucks would be a good buy and robust i have a few in mind i have seen but for all i know i may be looking at a heap of ....
