I've been wanting parts for the blitz (spur gear) for a long while now, also firestorm wheelie bar which I got lucky with buying one from ebay new which are rare. But my question is what's going on with hpi? I know they have changed hands and got tolded by hpi racing them self that my parts I am after will be in stock from 8th may this year but I did phone up in February, last thing I want is 12 hpi cars with no parts

What is it like on 3s lipos and do You have any heat issues with it ? Or should i go to 2s lipos ? I am running 88T spur and 21T pinion.

Part number 100419 flux warp 5700kv in the manual is a upgrade from the stock motor, wouldn't it be best to get that ? Sorry for this i am new to electric

So if i get the hpi flux vapor pro ESC and the hpi 4000kv motor from modelsport will be a good fit with 3s ? Plus i will have hpi good customer service if anything fails So will that be a good combo with a decent amount of speed ? I ain't looking for land speed records lol just some good bashing

I might go for the skyrc cheetah 60a 8.5T combo. Its ready to plug in and use a 3s lipos, what are they like any good ? And will a 3s battery be ok on it ? Cheers

Cheers chaps for the replies. I have been into nitro for 20 years now but this brushless is new to me lol i had to learn alot. I got my hpi blitz from modelsport came the next day (which i was pleased about that thumps up!) but i got the brushed version because i want to put my own kit in it. (don't ask why lol). I wanted something i could just plug in and connect up without soildering because i can't soilder and i don't know anyone who can . Is there a combo i can just do that ? Just plug in. I thought this brushless is all about is just plug in ? Lol

If you getting a 1/8 scale a hyper 7 is no brainer, they are cheap and you can bash these hard with very rare breaking them also you can get parts from ebay for next to nothing very cheap ! I've got 9 hypers I have fallen in love
