  1. I knew it would pull 20k-21k! That's excellent. With 17/57 on ashpalt it should be in the 23k range... If the porting will allow. Throw a cheap 40 quid DDM ported head on it and see what it'll rev to before the crank snaps! If you like the high revs, Doug at ESP, here in Michigan, can build you a head with his "boat porting" that he says will get into the 25k range.
  2. Same pipe as this thread is about, just a silenced version. Rumor has it, it's a bit more torquy, but loses about 500rpm up top. It's supposed to have the same low end as the Dom, but I doubt it.
  3. My GT2 is rubbish... It forgets it's trim settings. My car will sit there at an idle for a few seconds, then you can hear the speed control start to beep, then the car starts moving under it's own power. You reset the throttle trim, then it starts to do it again after a few seconds. It forgets the steering as well. What's weird about it, is that it's a manual dial (potentiometer) not a digital gain control. It's an ok radio for an electric, but I would never trust it to another petrol car again! I had a hell of a time trying to tune in my carb with this stupid thing revving my motor while was trying to drop the rpm with the idle screw... I thought I had an air leak! Or Dementia.
  4. Maybe you are driving improperly?
  5. What mount is bending? The pipe to the roll cage, pipe to the chassis, or the mount of the roll cage?
  6. I see you bought a 30.5cc from China... Oh my.
  7. My Nova-Rossi .21 11 port will put a serious beating on any .32 motor. 65,000 is a lot of RPM. I have it bolted into a Schumacher Xtreme 3 speed. Runs about 70 in second gear @1/4 throttle. Anything more and it blows over. It's never hit 3rd gear with this motor, but I did get it into third quite often with the stock Thunder Tiger .21, but that motor is a puff and only revs to 21k. pfft. Same as a Zenoah that's 10 times larger lol. Engine size has very little to do with speed or power. It's all in the design and porting. The stock KM 29 and 30 motors don't have the power of the Zenoah's. It's from a lack of a proper porting design and huge crankcase volumes. I have a 7.3L V-8 in my F-250 (460 cubic inches.) It sounds impressive until you realize it only produces 255hp... Size means little. A 4-bolt is the way to go, putting a ported head on a 2-bolt is just a ticking time bomb until the the head cracks. Enjoy the motor you have for now and when the time comes to upgrade, go for a Zen 4-bolt case. Then the possibilities really open up for more power.
  8. A petrol brushless nitro-powered km hpi 5ive b sc FG monster truck. Duh. I have a brushless motor in my servo because I think a nitro powered servo would be a PITA to tune. So I have to say brushless is better, but what do I know?
  9. Still got a fair way to go yet, but got the feelers out there and waiting for some replies about some cheap bits, as this will be very much a budget build. I think you may need a chassis, but I'm just guessing.
  10. Avoid the Ghost pipe, it's just loud and doesn't really add any power. The Thor, VRC clone or Dom pipes are about the best of the clone pipes. Dom adds low end. Loud. Most people's favorite. Thor adds a fair bit all around, sounds cool too. My favorite. VRC clone adds lots of mid and top, but you need to know what you are doing to get the most out of this pipe. It's loud as hell too. I would recommend the Dom or the Thor. The links I posted will give you an idea of looks, these links are directed to companies in the States, so you will need to find them in your country. Others I'm sure will post up links. These are just clone pipes, there are a bunch of "Name Brand" pipes out there too. The Bartolone Torpedo is one of my favorites, but that too expensive for me. I'm keepin my junk all clone. Feel free to use the search button, there are hundreds of threads about these very cars on here. Good luck and welcome aboard.
  11. What is a King Motors? Is that like a bicycle or something?
  12. Can I hook my Iphone27i+ to it? If not it's rubbish. I need more tech on my R/C's and so does OHO...
