  2. Ok funny. Where do you get the grub screws from? I would have thought they would come with them wouldn't you? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  3. Quite a large box? I don't remember ordering anything that size? Oh drive shafts. Would they not fit in an envelope lol? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  4. Still as in the photo at the moment unfortunately. I will get round to it tho. When I'm less busy.
  5. Well first off when I went to take it for a run last weekend I noticed I had lost the rear centre drive cup & bearing. So whilst look looking for a replacement I found that I should really have universal drive shafts front and rear. (off the centre diff.) At the moment it's set with drive cups and dog bones. I guess that's another thing that the guy didn't tell me when I purchased it. Also when I got it, one of the first things in noticed was that the rear d/shaft was only just staying put and had bits of masking tape rolled up to stop it falling out. lol. That's ok tho as I enjoy making things right again & improving them along the way. One question if I may... as I know you have the big bore shocks. What are the width of them? Because I got some off of a X3 sabre and they pretty much touch the front drive shafts. It might be I need longer stand of f's I suppose.
  6. Yes there Nanda blocks lol. I did the same a couple of times. Most people recommend duck but at the moment I am trying kevlar thread. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VPAtcxEq2Qo Seem a good idea but as I am waiting on new drive shafts I have not tested them yet.
  7. Looked at it in pieces waiting on new parts.
  8. +1 for the Savage here too. Not had either but as stated, the word on the street is (There Good!)
  9. 63mph so far Motor - Hpi scream 1965kv / HW WP150amp esc / 6s 5000mAh turnigy nanotech. 21t pinion / 48t spur. football / cricket field - smoothish. ( 57c ) ( 34c ) ( 24c ) nice day, dry 17c 10mph cross wind
  10. Is moving around a bit too much maybe? The only thing that I slightly worry about is if the pinion comes loose and impacts the lipo, but its lock threaded on so shouldn't be an issue. Hardcase probably would be a good idea if your having problems tho.
  11. Post office for smaller item's and I use Collect+ for larger items. Good rates and all tracked.
  12. A pack of 10 bearings from Rc bearings uk. As has been said, great price and fast shipping.
  13. I had a similar problem. As stated above check your end points are re set to stock. On mine that's 100%. mine did the same but at first I had no drive from the motor. (Plugs the wrong way round) also the calibration instructions did not make scene to me. I think I just held the little button when I turned on the esc until it stopped beeping then gave it 1 quick clicks. Or something like that, sorry I can't remember exactly. Also I had to un-reverse my throttle.
  14. I think there are various methods across the Web to fill the holes but I just used epoxy resin. It certainly does help to massively reduce water and dirt coming in. I also cut and glued some thin abs around the front of the plastic side Stone guards. Being careful not to impede the steering arm. Cut some carbon fiber rear mud guards too. It all helps lots to keep dirt out the body and rear drive shafts. All in all reduces cleaning times quite a lot.
  15. Not planning but wishing on a losi desert buggy xl. But in reality. Hopefully a truggy for the boy.
  16. Nice. Things I'm jealous of...1,Tyre's what are they? I know the paint normally comes off but I'm still a sucker for tyre writing. Been looking at duratrax lineups but can't bring myself to spend that much on rubber yet. 2, The motor mount looks smart what, where, and how much? + was it easy to fit? 3, Are sure you don't want to sell them chassis braces's. They would look muck better on mine lol How long is that battery tray? It's hard to tell from the pictures but I think I would struggle to fit my 6s in there.
  17. Any pictures of your X1-CR's yet chaps? Mine is still in 3 large bits at the moment until my new bearings get here.
  18. A quick seek peek of the rough body shape I have planned. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  19. Here are some pics of what I've got so far. Not much to show just a block and some rough scribbles. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  20. Sure do. It's not in the tidiest of conditions but is all working.
  21. Not 100% sure on this one as mine was already converted when I got it. So my receiver is just cable tied to the top of the servo tray at the mo. Tho have been looking for a suitable box unit that I can use and keep it all a bit more tidy. So might try a traxxas summit box as it looks about right.
  22. Wowzers!! Fellow X1-CR owner's welcome. My current body is the LX2E body pre painted from amain hobbys link bellow. Near enough a perfect fit + I didn't get stung on any import taxes either. http://www.amain.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_25_1461_1920/products_id/221387/n/OFNA-Ultra-LX2e-Printed-RTR-1-8-Buggy-Body I am presently in the process of re-newing all my bearings and getting king headz steering ackerman. And also hoping to make a custom body soon. Pic's to follow.
  23. Continued to strip out old knackered bearings and re-new front right lower wishbone for an original part as the one in place I think might be of a hyper. I'm sure your all well jealous of my barbie mechanics tray. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
