Im liking the look of the truck with the wheels on iv been thinkin of getting sone on road tyres for mine want to get other bits done first tho

Welcome iv not long started and iv found out how easy it is to spend money on it wouldnt be to bad if i couldnt get stuff of line but i seem to buy something every week for it

What diff oil do you have to use is it the same front and back or not

Iv not had the diffs apart iv had the motor out.iv put a bit of grease on them and it made it a little bit better think I might loosen it of a little bit then it then see if that works This is as far as iv stripped it Also does your servo arm hit the middle drive shaft iv seen some people have this problem

Really i live pretty much across from the paddock pub when i start making the track it will be in borrowash so not far away.iv not really taken the car on any off road tracks yet mainly carparks

Iv ordered some more bits on friday Aluminum Slipper Shaft Bearing Adapter, Aluminum wheel hex adapters pinion gear some more wheel bearings Then next week il be orderin Rpm front bumper rear mud flaps then getting some shocks also iv noticed since building it back up it sounds a bit loud when you grab the 2 wheels and turn them like the gears are out of line

Thought id start a thread about my Traxxas slash only had it for 2-3 weeks now.im new to rc cars so if anyone has any hints or tips on what to look out for or do to my car that would be great. Iv done a few bits to the car first thing i did was remove most of the stickers as i wasnt a fan of them then i replaced the front and rear arms to Rpm ones also i changed the rear hubs to Rpm.iv also changed the rear bumper to a Rpm one.iv also got a lipo 2s battery at the moment il be gettin more soon.only real problem iv had was with the wheel bearings as they went rusty and alot of grit getting in to the middle drive shaft but thats sorted now. some photos I wont put loads of photos up as you all know what a slash looks like Cheers

It is cool that he don't mind Iv ordered some bearings they should be here iv also ordered a rpm rear bumper just to make it look a bit better Iv already put rpm front and rear arms and rear rpm hubs so far. I got told by the shop not to go for ally arms as he said if you hit something hard they just bend unlike the plastic ones Iv seen some bit from America I like but bit unsure about ordering over seas il check jennysrc out cheers

Thanks for all the advise really helped with what I want to do with it now It's a 2s I may go and order some parts today for it I think. iv ran the lipo about 2 times didn't seem that fast but I then noticed the wheel bearings had started to seized which was my fault in the end as I didn't dry that well.im not fussed about breakages that's what it's made for I was goin to say il start my own thread as I don't want to hijack James thread

Iv got the standard battery that came with it which is 3000mah power cell and i went and got a 3200mah lipo last week il be getting another one soon aswel Whats best way to keep it cool then cut holes in the shell ??

Yes it's a 4x4 when you say 3s is that related to the lipo battery sorry I'm pretty new to this iv been lookin at getting a fan for it aswel as a lot of people are using them

Would a 17 or 18 pinion be alright on a stock motor would i notice the speeds ??
