  1. Hi.

Still asking if anyone could help me with putting things on my trx4 . Like how to wire and how to get power to it all ie fans for the engine , ess sound module lights etc . Should I run a separate battery or if anyone can advice me of a thread I can follow up with. Many thanks .

You can fit a pretty big pack in the TRX4, so I wouldn't worry about running a separate pack.

If you are adding power hungry features, definitely run a separate BEC, don't cheap out, get the Castle one, you'll be glad you did when you have proper power to everything and no servo brownout.

For wiring, it's as simple as plugging stuff in really lol, assuming you have enough channels and whatnot, I've never set up a sound module and to be honest, they seem a bit naff to me, might be fun for 5 minutes then probably just end up being annoying.

Cheers. I was thinking of getting the traxxas bec with the traxxas 400 steering servo, or should I go for the Castle one.

Castle... Traxxas stuff generally is very expensive and very overrated.

Go for a nice Savox, Hitec, Xpert or even PowerHD servo.

If you can find the older V1 BEC (small and blue) then all the better, it will be cheaper and has a smaller footprint.

The newer ones are quite a bit more expensive because they can handle more power, but that's not necessary in your TRX4.
