  1. Completely forgot the Tamiyas. The TT02 is popular, comes with a Lovely honda NSX shell too and many other realistic ones. Also theres so so much for them.
  2. Obviosuly yeah its just some people want a dedicated speed machine where as others want something slower but is easy to drive etc. For that budget, Id go for a traxxas XO-1 but they get a lot of bad press on here and people slag them off something rotten. You've also got a Kyosho Inferno GT2, im not sure about it having never driven one, but the specs out the box look pretty cool. The HPI WR8 is a popular on road car too, theres a good thread on here about it and ive seen some good speed runs with one too, plenty of upgrades for them as well. SeanVRS on here has the Hyper GT, hes the only one im awawre of, BEZ has one hes building but ive not seen any progress on it for a while. Sean really likes his though and hes got the nitro version I've got a few on road cars, Ive got a Vaterra V100 which is 1/10 scale, it looks stunning and with a few upgrades they are even better, its a tub chassis too so i think its better for bashng. I use a Sakura Ultimate for Drift purposes and I also have a gt12 and a pan car. they are no good for what you want though really. The Kyosho Fazer is meant to be a nice car and brushless straight out the box, although the specs for Brushless seems a bit under powered for me. My Vaterra is running and 11,300kv motor and 120a turbo esc which is massive over kill but its fun and the drive train takes it OK.
  3. What sort of thing do you want from it? do you want out and out speed? handling? fun? what type of styling do you want so rally? touring? supercar?
  4. What scale are you looking for?

  7. I like that a lot Noj, have you ran it yet?
  8. the only thing to consider is a lot of quarries have vertical sides, so you will have to choose one with a bank
  9. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Team-Orion-Method-Pro-15t-540-Brushed-Electric-RC-Motor-Hobbywing-ESC-Combo-/332017961120?hash=item4d4dd008a0:g:~0sAAOSwEeFVQcow motor and esc for 40 quid there
  10. A quarry would be a good idea too. a bank for the RC to get up and a winding path for the 1/1 car
  11. Good luck everyone. Another great prize!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I like this a lot. The shell reminds me of a metro 6r4 in a way too which is always a win. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. They look great. I like the rat rod style one a lot!! which styles have you gone for? I was thinking a turbo, a piranha, an optimus or a phathead. I was also going to go for a mk2 escort shell for display purposes only. Would you recommend running schuey mini pins or rally blocks? I can see you are running stock
  14. DIdnt realise this thread exists. Heres my GTB. newly purchased, 2nd hand. It has alloy motor mount, CVDs, Weight Kit, Gool RC motor and hobbywing ESC. will be ordering a Phat body shell and wing in the not to distant future
  15. My hyper 7 went like stink with a LRP ZR.32 engine in it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Yeah looking forward to it. Not going to do it until I have everything together for it though. I'm going to do it to match my swift so Subaru blue backed with white I think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. On road and nitro. Hmmm..... doesn't really leave you with a lot really. Theres a HPI rs4. Parts are a plenty and a few upgrades available too. You've also got a kyosho drx and a HPI wr8. They are 1/8 scale and more a rally car but will run on road nicely with the right tyres and setup. I personally think the WR8 is a lot of money for what it is. I'd go for a Hyper GT personally. I think they are great and are pretty strong too. I know 1 member on here who has a nitro one and he really likes it. The closest thing to a fusion sold now is a kyosho inferno gt2 but its bigger than a fusion (1/8) and not many places sell it any more and its hard to find a place to run it, will need a really flat surface
  18. Good luck everyone and thanks to msuk staff and distributors for putting the prizes together
