  1. gutted for you mate. was it at your house on your land ? or somewhere else.
  2. I do some beta testing for MS & w8.1 is cracking now a days. you can tweak some parts of it to make it feel more like w7 but it is good out of the box. Intel for me nowadays too as I was a AMD man many years back, but Intel have got a cracking over clocking cpu called the intel Pentium anniversary ed g3258 what you can get to a good 4.30 GHz easy even on air. it was in pc format & I got one for a client of mine & tested it so I know it can oc ok even with a cheapish mobo. when I get 15 mins I will draw up a few rigs for you, but what are you using the pc for if I may ask ? games, 3d art drawing, music etc etc. kenny
  3. well the shells came on sat afternoon, & they are not bad at all but the shells are sort of on the thin side what is about 0.38 on my digital calipers give or take in some places after I removed some of the protective cover off to measure right. The main let down is that the spellings ( some of them make me laugh ) let the shells down. but if it one way to keep the cost down on there end then that is fine for me, the stickers look like they are somehow printed on the shell or when they spray the underside of the shell but I don't fully know as I am still learning about shells . however as these are bashing shells or knock about ones, not display ones like the rally audi one I will put them on soon & see how long they last after I use some shoe goo & fibre tape. don't forget I did remove some of the protective cover in the photos.
  4. I use one of these = http://www.modelsport.co.uk/overlander-rc6-vsp-80watt-7a-output-ac-dc-charger-with-fan/rc-car-products/379060 Overlander RC6-VSP 80watt 7A Output
  5. time waits for no one, so have I won
  6. drum roll please as the winner is = ........
  7. now sorted. thanks kenny
  8. looks cool & that will keep me a bit fitter
  9. looks cool on that track, maybe we should price up a few fields around the uk & set our own rally stages up
  10. will do mate, I have a clear original shell what I am going to get sprayed up by someone asap for best . these from r2 are just bashing about shells unless they are nice shells then I will remove the stickers & get better ones.
  11. also check the sj4000 forum out too, as there is some so called fake ones out there ( the bike video clip looks like the real deal to me, it might be a older firmware installed on it ). http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2090990&page=77 I have a sj4000 & it is great for my needs, however I think the sj4000 needs to be set up in the menu right on the above video clip.
  12. I thought that was the reason as long as they are made ok & look not to bad for the price of them, they should be ok for my bashing about needs.
  13. many thanks for the link to them, as I have just ordered 2 shells off them = 1/10 Audi S4 Analog Painted RC R/c On-Road Racing Drift Car 185mm Body Shell 1/10 Subaru Impreza WRC PVC analogico Dipinta RC Hatchback Car Body
  14. looks very good but I would ask JayAVFC to do you some stickers, he did me some & each letter is separate. so I think that would look cool.
  15. cool what ever you decide keep us posted as I think these old buggy's still look cool I had great fun racing mine in the day ( many years a go ! ). but the nitro engines are loud & messy so I have got in to elect rc stuff now, so much quieter but still quick as.
  16. it is as I had one in fact it was the last rc car\buggy I had before my long break, here is my old shell I had but never used as I sold the buggy. however if you sell it as I roller I might be up for buying it, as I would like to find a roller to show off the above shell. kenny
  17. wow that's a long time to study but it should be worth it, I am self taught as I used to be a electronic engineer some years back but I got laid off from a big company. so as I was sort of doing the pc systems for them I just moved in to pc support for a small company after working for over clockers for a while, & then I got laid off so I set up on my own. the money is ok when I have work booked in but I like the time I get to myself as I live in stoke on trent but my better half lives 50 miles away at Bromsgrove so I travel to & from. I do anything pc support related ie building systems to remote support server installs & train folks up, way to many things to list fully but I I don't know what to do I find out & crack on with it, the job can be fun most of the time but some times I might have a client who can be lets say hard work to talk trough on fixing a issue on the phone. all the best
