  1. I've in Wakey, and have been looking for somewhere to do some jumps and skids, and not found anywhere suitable yet. I'll keep an eye on this thread
  2. thanks matey, I'll email the seller and see what we can do.
  3. Sadly not, as it appears that they are 'sided' so not that simple. Looks like I'll just have to learn to drift without a fow then
  4. Evening all, My fow arrived this morning, and on inspection it appears that they have put the wrong bearing in it. The drive direction arrows contradict each other, so when one side is getting drive, the other is freewheeling, etc. Anybody seen this, and is there a fix I can do without having to return it (probably not worth the postage to be honest) Ta Andy
  5. I'm struggling with mine, but I've been out of RC for years. Cheap as chips though
  6. Still got my ta03f in bits, really should get it out and give it a run sometime
  7. shells are a matter of opinion. I love the s13/s14 look, as well as the rx7 and jzx100. Some people really rate scoobies and evos, of bmw's. Some prefer american muscle cars. Then there are the much more interesting classic japanese cars, such as the trueno, etc. Google RC Drift and see what takes your fancy
  8. Thanks Teshi, I'll take a look at it. Desperately trying to get as much driving time as I can at the moment, as I am not really progressing that much. Got a weekend without the gf coming up, so i plan on grabbing something to mark out a track and spending an afternoon in my deserted car park
  9. Odd isnt it? I'll adjust my radio and see if i can salvage the part. Still tempted to buy lots of ally parts, but really should get better before i fling cash at it. Sooo tempting though
  10. thankfully not, the pin slipped out. The pin is a little bent, so i will be seeing if i can straighten it before i bodge it back in.
  11. Been slowly improving with the D3 (improving doesnt mean any good though, hehe), until on Sunday it spat out a drive shaft on the front. With the fairly slow delivery times I am expecting, I might run it as RWD until the new shafts turn up. Just got a FOW for it, and been thinking about alloy steering rack, and the alloy steering bits (uj drive shafts and the alloy c hubs). I'm in danger of spending money on something i still cannot drive properly, so talk me out of it!
  12. Great mini-review! Just starting out with CS drifting, and already struggling a little. Would you say RWD would be impossible for a newbie, and that working through 50/50 - CS - RWD is a better option, or just leaping in to RWD with no bad habits yet?
