  1. Hmmm something is clearly not right with my account then. Will have to email Nige.
  2. I have 521 points, the 25 points is what I would receive from this purchase. That's what I don't understand it's not giving me the option to use mine.
  3. I have no option to use points on my checkout?
  4. There is no box to enter the points into on my tablet ?!
  5. I can't see the option in my check out to use the freeprawn bonus points? Can any one else with points see if theirs is working or whether the option has been removed. Thanks.
  6. Agreed that the slash is a perfect basher, with scale looks and speed it's a perfect choice for many, not to mention parts availability
  7. Associated rc18t - My first proper hobby grade rc Losi 5ive T - its huge, smells awesome and would put a smile on any RC enthusiasts face. Hong nor x1 cr - got me back into the hobby
  8. Rebuilt the shocks on the tekno truck, thicker oils + new springs. Fitted the alloy servo horn too, first upgrade as such Now to try find out what the issue is causing it to cut out temporarily
  9. OK thanks I'll look into ordering one hopefully work can get me one In. Any diagrams regards to soldering it in? It has to be an ESC / battery issue of some sort. I did wonder whether it was thermal cut off but it was just ironic how it would only do it when I landed jumps. What would of caused it to run away on half throttle though? Cheers guy s.
  10. No rc car can be described as 100% reliable in my opinion. Things break its the nature of the hobby. Mine was good fun. It didnt cost me much in spares and I had very little downtime with it. It won't survive being launched 30ft in the air but not many rc cars for £300 will
  11. Bump. Can include lipo charger if asking price is met.
  12. Helion select four SC. Fast on 2s Mental on 3s. £240 With decent radio. Leaves monies for batteries.
  13. Is this what I'm after ? http://uk.farnell.com/panasonic-electronic-components/eeufr1v102b/cap-alu-elec-1000uf-35v-rad/dp/1800671?mckv=1o5tpdhU_dt|pcrid|78108386589|&gross_price=true&CATCI=pla-131289267429&CAAGID=20220685629&CMP=KNC-GUK-GEN-SHOPPING-PANASONIC_ELECTRONIC_COMPONENTS&CAGPSPN=pla&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI55DW3Y-X1QIVybztCh1ytQ6yEAQYASABEgI9UvD_BwE&DM_PersistentCookieCreated=true&CAWELAID=120173390001328403
  14. I tried both my dx4s and the spare hpi radio and both were the same so I did rule out a tx/RX issue. The other two lads had no issues with radio signal and it didn't matter whether I stood on the rostrum or down on the circuit. I have no experience with messing about with esc's. I'll see if it goes again this weekend but for now I will try re binding / calibrating the ESC. I am starting to think running it on big 8th astro tracks is pushing it a little bit too much
  15. Evening chaps, spent sunday/monday up at deerdale astro with my Tekno sct - it was only the third time that i've had it out and it gave me a couple of niggles.. For the record - It was hot, very hot! But I don't think that's what caused the problem! On a couple of landings over a mild take off the car would just cut out? Then probably 1-2 seconds later - I had power again? It only seemed to be on a couple of landing spots around the track. Sometimes i'd just lose throttle for say 0.5-2 seconds but then as the afternoon went on I would lose throttle all together. However when I walked over the collect the car the ESC was still running + if I simply turned it on/off I would regain all the controls again. However before I packed up and went home I decided to try and conquer the big double that I hadn't managed to clear all day. Cleared it first time but had to hit it absolutely flat out, keeping the throttle on max in the air to stop the nose dive, However second time around I did the same thing, kept it pinned in mid air, this time the landing was a tad heavier....when the car landed and I Came off the throttle a bit, the damn car ran away like a nitro does?! It then did this 2/3 more times?! No i'm no expert but this has left me with no idea what is wrong with it! A couple guys down there suggested a few things which we tried. Firstly switching to my old radio gear as it appeared to be happening in only a few spots on circuit - eliminated this as was the same on my TF40 radio Low voltage cut off on the ESC - something to do with under punch it may be cuting out? However we lowered this to 2.6v/cell and although it DID fix the issue for a bit, it still carried on cutting out Bad lipos? however the 2x graphenes I used are only 20packs old each and I always balance charge - the two nanotech's I was using were brand new that weekend! Dodgy connection between the battery/esc through my XT60 connectors? the XT60 on the ESC was a little loose so we wiggled the pin out a little and made the fitment nice and snug (before my connectors were sometimes popping off over jumps) however this made no difference. Does anybody else have any suggestions as i'm totally stumped + know relatively little about electronics. It's just strange how it didn't do it on track @ Ndor or east coast nitro the first two times I used it. setup wise it's a Hobbywing WP SC8 ESC running a tenshock 4400kv 4 pole motor. Punch was on level 7 out of 9 Tturnigy batteries, all virtually brand new. The only other thing I wasn't sure on was the wires from ESC > motor are very short but are still joined with bullets, because of the angle they were at I had to wrap some electrical tape around the bullets, again to stop them from working themselves apart slightly. Any help will be appreciated as I'd like to take it out this weekend but A ) don't want to travel to find it's even worse or B ) end up having it run away flat out at max speed into a post! Cheers guys,
  16. New low frequency springs in a different rating for the sct and a replacement servo horn for the kit plastic one I stripped at the weekend, £15 for a nugget of alloy?
  17. Nothing fancy just something in good health please.
  18. Couple more lipo's for the sct. Trying to gather a few so I don't have to charge whilst i'm at the track!
  19. Genuinely don't know what I was thinking I've always mixed at 28/1 Looks like it's new engine time. That little 26cc has been bleeding bulletproof too.
