  1. Would just like to say thanks for your help the car seems to be running very well now. That was up to the point where my wife hit the curb and bent the shock absorber shaft
  2. Ok that explains why I couldn't reverse lol. I will just have another mess tomorrow keep doing it in bits as it's annoying me. Thanks again for your help
  3. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I have it now so it starts quite easy but still idles to fast and the car drives off. I have my transmitter set to 0 and the carb opening at around 1mm. So not sure why it still drives off lol I have run a full tank of fuel thru it and a steady run around the garden and now I have left it. The one thing I can't get it to do is reverse. Do they reverse or just brake?
  4. I don't have a you tube account. My transmitter is set to 0 so shouldn't be doing anything but yes the wheels still go around. Am I right in thinking the gap in the carb is altered by the idle screw? It seems to be running, quite badly, but then it will rev up and stall. Think it may be aswel to go to a model shop and ask them set it up. Don't know if they will tho
  5. I have it running now u it is idling quite quick and smoking quite a bit. I have took a short video but it won't let me upload as it's to big
  6. That's what we have been doing but there is no fuel flowing at all
  7. Good morning my son was bought a ftx carnage nt for Christmas but we can't start it. It was brand new and we followed a video on you tube on how to start and break in the engine but ours dosnt do anything what his did in the video lol. For starters we can't even get the fuel to leave the tank? We covered the exhaust and pulled the starter like he said but nothing. Any ideas?
  8. Legend. Thank you so much for taking the time. Will let him have a look in the morning.
  9. How about this http://www.modelsport.co.uk/tamco-rc-raid-4wd-1-10-brushless-buggy/rc-car-products/387179
  10. I have no idea what the difference is lol, something that goes quite fast on grass
  11. He has two at the min a hpi mini recon and a ripmax huskey but they are a bit small for playing with on the field. I know absolutely nothing about them, they just don't interest me so maybe nitro is a no go area.
  12. Hi. It's that time of the year again that my son wants a nitro car for Christmas. He has had electric since last Christmas but now wants nitro. What would you recommend for a 10 yr old for around 150/170 ish?
  13. Hi mate I have been bidding on a couple of these on ebay for my son. They seem to sell between 40 and 50 pound. I would be willing to pay you 45
  14. I use to use lovefilm when they use to rent games aswel and found them to be very good. Its also very easy to cancel. If you look around on Google you can sometimes find a 3 month trial code. Is there still a tesco dvd rental? Thats also run by lovefilm but you get club card points for using it.
  15. I tend to agree but I have been going since I was 6 and its done me no harm. I dont think anyone can answer a question like was originally ask apart from the parent. Every Child is different and only the individuals parents no best.
  16. Me and my 8 year old son are both season ticket holders for liverpool so he hears all kind of language. Should going to watch football be for over 18s? The way I see it as long as you explain that some words shouldn't be used and that the violence Isn't real then there's not much wrong with it. I was brought up playing mario and sonic ect I dont go around eating mushrooms and jumping on turtles lol. If he is already playing cod I would say borderlands is fine tbh as the whole thing is set in more of a cartoon world whereas cod is more realistic.
  17. No problem mate don't really need any more track
  18. I sold mine on ebay mate for 120. You can get the 3g version from tesco in store for 120 but that's with no games
