  1. If your still after one I think I have a few low turn brushless motors in the mancave, I can see what they are if your interested? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Actually isn’t the esavage 1/10 scale? This motor might be too big but the esc would work a treat with a fake castle 2650kv off ebay
  3. https://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/forums/topic/230966-goolrc-4092-1520kv-motor-and-hobbywing-sc8wp-120a-esc/?tab=comments#comment-2439616
  4. The castle motors from China are actually copies of the original ones but they are still very good motors for the price, as good as any other Chinese motor anyways. I know a few people use them same motors on 6s for speed running and have ran over 115mph with them. the goolrc stuff has a good reputation with most people for being a good budget option for general use, I have never had any issues with them and others will swear by them for bashing purposes. never had any experience with the surpass stuff sorry dont worry about customs charges from China, it’s none existent as they mark everything down or as gift anyway
  5. That includes 1st class post so you will have it Tuesday
  6. Goolrc 4092 1520kv brushless motor, only used twice so still in as new condition (bar a little bit of dirt on the wires) £35 all in Hobbywing SC8wp, again only used twice so in as new condition bar a little bit of dirt on the casing. I do have the box for this somewhere but can’t guarantee I will find it £40 all in Or £70 for both of them all in PayPal only
  7. Personally I would go for a hyper 7 roller off eBay and convert it to brushless, can be done very easily and also very cheaply too if you search around and get some budget electrics in it for the time being, you can upgrade them if you feel the need to. they are tough as old boots and spares are pretty much endless with the eBay chop shops edit: never mind I have just read you got an 808 roller lol

Surely once the clutch engages it will hold it in place anyways? Yeah I get that you don’t want it to lock in place with the gears not being aligned properly but chances are that once it starts spinning up it will move away from the engine and close to the spur gear.....I guess there is a 50/50 chance anyway lol
  9. Ahh no worries, I have a hooked 4092 1520kv that I’m thinking of parting with
  10. What KV are you looking for?

  13. I would advise drilling the chassis for the extra mount hole, otherwise your mount can twist a little and give the gears an odd mesh. best way I found was to get a long M4 grub screw (preferably one of the pointy ended ones) and screw it down the third mount hole whilst the motor mount is fitted to mark the hole on the chassis and then remove the mount and drill the hole and countersink it. When you fit it just use some washers to fill the gap between the chassis and mount on the third hole
