Boxed with everything included as seen in the first picture. It was purchased last year and only used a few times and with only a bit of minor wear to the top of the body. I had difficulty in changing the grub pinion and so Bez from MSUK helped and fully serviced it. Included is the rusty shroud and the HPI lipo battery. Being absent minded I must have let the battery drain completely but I charged it back up following advice from the net. I'm only selling as its to fast and I find it to fiddly to maintain with my limited skills. I'm not interested in RC trades thanks. Price including UK postage

I've decided that the Savage XS isn't the car for me. I've had a look on EBay for secondhand prices but how much would a boxed as new Savage XS flux, used five times, in good clean condition (few scratches on roof) be likely to sell for? As much as I enjoy it I'd rather get something bigger which is easier for me to work on.

He an issue with the XS after only it's third outing. Stripped it down and it looks like the grub screw had become stripped or become busted and it wasn't in place. Is it worth using glue to keep in place once a new one is ordered?

I let my friends five year old have a go on my, well my sons, Latrax Teton 1/18. He was a bit heavy handed on the throttle and the motor has burnt out which appears to happen quite often. A quick google says I'd be needing a 370 Motor (28 Turn) but I can't seem to see any being sold in the UK? Can anyone send a link to a suitable replacement thanks

I requested pictures of the underside of the truck which were sent to me and were a lot larger and clearer. I thought with the dusty cover it would be in very good condition but they were quite detailed and showed the scratches, mud and rust. I might see what MS have in stock before EBay

This one has rusted screws, on closer inspection it has dried mud attached to it too; Whilst I'm not OCD I wouldn't keep any of my cars uncleared like this. Ive tried to upload the pictures but they've been sent via EBay messages and I would take a screen print and upload but I think I'll give bidding a miss. I'm not sure whether it was deliberate if the seller not to show any of the pics of the underneath of the vehicle on the auction and I'm glad I asked for them. I might just buy new for peace of mind. Thanks for the input everyone.

A Traxxas RC 10 months old at auction, part of a nice complete package, boxed, all literature and seemingly in good condition. However when asked for additional pics it's clear that it's been beaten and bashed with rusted screws and a heavily scratched chassis. I'm in two minds, if the price is right at auction and by bid reflects this perhaps, but part of me says to wait until a better example comes up (it's a common model). Would you buy a car, with one owner in the above condition?

I think I'm going to buy a ECX Torment. They seem well made and good enough for back garden bashing. Now, I already have a Maverick Ion MT. What I'm confused about is will the batteries I've got for the MT work with the connectors that are in the Torment? I'm using the standard Maverick battery that came with it Thanks

I'm not using the MERV, I've only used it a few times since I've owned it and it's so fast I'm worried about breaking it and now that I've just bought a HPI Savage XS it's not needed. It's been fitted with a Deans plug and is in good condition as the pictures show. The black plastic aerial cover has been broken but doesn't affect the range of the transmitter and will stand up but don't expect it to flip down. Deans connector fitted: Small cut in bodyshell Parcel Force broke my Traxxas VXL Stampede that I sold despite being very well wrapped. When sold this will be so well wrapped it will survive anything including heavy handed courier staff.

Just out of interest but do you get hit with customs charges when buying from overseas?

I've just purchased a Savage XS Flux that would be an option worth looking at, it might be geared to more extreme bashing though. Theres lots of YouTube videos of it in action.

I looked at both the Bullet ST Flux and the Firestorm. But in the end I decided on the HPI Savage XS Flux. Small enough to put in a large backpack and from the YouTube reviews and videos I've watched it can take a knock or two. It arrived the other day but I haven't had chance to test it out yet

I had overlooked the hpi savage xs flux before but it does seem to tick all the boxes and I like the HPI warranty and help centres that I've seen advertised. I might order it later

The mini revo was my first proper rc. It was an eBay purchase and I didn't really understand just how prone to breaking and how fast they were. I'm tempted to sell it.

I've spent almost the entire Bank Holiday trying to decide on a fun, basher, which looks impressive and more importantly can take a knock or two and is unlikely to need repairing in a hurry I want something that must be electric and RTR. It must have fairly good ground clearance and be suitable for most terrains. It won't be bashed really hard but may go over the occasional ramp. It doesn't need to go faster than a 2 lipo battery. I decided to buy a Maverick Ion MT after following this thread. I cant even start it. The truck is brand new and the battery is charged. New batteries are in the remote. SW in the car is blinking red. Remote has been both in FR and EU mode. Controller is lit with both a red and green light. But it doesn't bind. No response at all. Am I being dense and missing something obvious? I've contacted the seller and they said to press the "receiver/ESC unit for approx 5 seconds" but I don't understand what they mean.
