  1. I see. I'm guessing it's not something you can go bashing with.
  2. Yes indeed, what's happening with your RCs at the moment?
  3. I'm about an hour away but I'm happy to travel if I need to. I need to start driving my RCs again, haven't done anything with them in ages.
  4. Not total destruction exactly but Maverick axles don't like big jumps as it turns out! ">http://>
  5. It's quite a long way for me but I might be up for it. It's about time a started driving my RCs again! Mr Nitro might have built his Yeti by now so maybe we could drag him along!
  6. Stored on the windowsill, charged on a wooden table. I look after them as best I can and so far nothing bad's happened... Probably not to be recommended though...
  7. Tell you what, text me tomorrow when you're in and I'll come and get it then.
  8. I can do but this doesn't look good: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2643583?day=1 I can pick it up from yours if you like.
  9. OK thanks. Let me know when, although I think it's supposed to rain pretty much all day.
  10. OK, deal. When can you deliver it?
  11. Hmmm, tempting. And you'd drop it off at my house?
  12. OK, how much are you asking for the transmitter (assuming you're not winding me up about the receivers)?
  13. OK, have you got two receivers for it?
  14. Hang on, I missed your edit, is it a B or C?
  15. Do you mean a GT3C or something else?
  16. Excellent, thank you. I'd forgotten about the FlySky stuff, it looks good!
  17. Well that's disappointing. In that case, SHOW US WHAT IT IS!!!
  18. My CC01's radio has no end point adjustment and the lack of steering mechanism travel has started killing servos. If I do away with that radio I'm left with one transmitter and one receiver between three cars, which is hardly ideal. So I'm looking a for a new transmitter with two receivers, the cheaper the better! It needs to: Have different model memories to store the settings for different cars Be a steering wheel design rather than sticks Be 2.4GHz (obviously!) Preferably cost less than
  19. Sounds like it could be dying. Have you checked all the connections?
  20. In all honesty, I actually do know what's inside (at least I think I do) but I still want to see it!
  21. You can't post a picture like that and then not show us what's inside!
  22. Agreed. Brushless systems are never as good as they can be when running on NiMH.
  23. No problem. Don't know if it will help or not but it's worth a try.
  24. OK, I would have expected that to make some difference. Can you change the settings for motor timing? I've never fully understood it but you could play around with different timing and see what happens I suppose. Other than that, I'm not sure there's much you can do. One of my cars has been cogging ever since I converted it to brushless, I even bought a different motor with more torque and it still does it a bit.
  25. Try taking the gearing down a bit. Buy some new pinion gears with fewer teeth and see which one gives the best compromise between cogging and top speed.
