boot into safe mode and then un-install the drivers, reinstall an older version form before the errors, if you still get the errors then its the card not the kernel

OK there's alot to cover here so here goes, ssd's are costly and it is better to have it work with a normal SSD for the pagefile (file that is a bit like the ram) the constant re-writing of this shortens the life of the SSD ( ok so by about a yr of a 15yr life expectancy) Ideal set up is SSD as C: and normal HDD as D:, Page file moved to d:/pagefile and Tmp/temp directories also moved. default saves to another drive: this bit is easy, my documents -> properties -> location -> D:\user (never set as D:\ it causes issues as "My Videos" is \video making the path d:\\video (double \ causes errors) Pagefile: my computer -> properties -> advanced system settings -> performance -> Settings -> advanced-> Virtual memory -> change -> Change D: drive to system managed (or 1.5x ram min to 3 times ram max, no I dont want a debate as to best pagesize calculations) set, then C: no pagefile, Set and reboot, Temp directories: my computer -> properties ->Enviromental Vairables-> and Edit the temp files to D:\temp\ you will need to reinstall all programs as the registry is altered and files are added to the windows directory as programs are installed, all of that being said, you can CLONE the drive, this normally does not work to well to a ssd but a normal HDD to HDD can be done in about half an hr. Acronis True Image, norton ghost 2003 (newer is more for ongoing backups not clones) clonezilla (A free great version) can copy all contents from one drive onto another (even a larger drive) good for replacing a failing drive's data onto a new drive. as for HDD size, vista up to date is 35Gb with barebone apps so a 60Gb would be fine feel free to ask if you want more info on ANYTHING i touched on, the instructions are from memory so sorry if they are not exact, I have 2 systems running SSD's

can you log in as another account? try the default admin account, to access it at the login screen (assuming you have the standard "click a picture to begin") press and hold CTLR + ALT then press DEL TWICE you will now have the older type in name and password boxes, type in Administrator / Guest / HomeGroupUser$ see if one of those 3 will let you log in once you have ANY account logged in, download Network Password Recovery from Nirsoft . net that will show you the correct password for all accounts on the pc

So my new drive gear arrived and then the problems started. as I now know, the 1/8th scale version has a metal base plate and a central diff, this is the same as on the HPI Trophy Flux, to the extent they use the same bits. ( at half the price HONEST) the 1/10th scale has a plastic chassis base with a metal support beam, and no central diff but a drive pin mounting instead, My new gears need one or 2 new bits to work, baseplate, central diff, motor mount, new length drive shafts and a new 1/8th scale shell. so they are in storage for now, that will be a project for down the road
