    I put it down to a faulty esc not a great start. Tried a esc off my sc10 which only supports upto 3s and this works fine

    Nope i've tried various ways but still no joy. The esc just powers off

    nah when the esc cuts out it won't power on for a few mins, the fan works but no lights on the esc

    Ye it runs on 2x 2s lipo i fully charged both today. This imo is an absolute bargain, sturdy as anything and looks high quality and alloy where there needs to be.

    So today my brand new Basher Bsr 1/8 rally car turned up. I thread locked all the parts that need to be and went straight to test. It worked great for 30 seconds then the throttle and reverse just stopped working. Turned off for 5 mins then it only worked for 10 seconds then power cut again. The steering still works so i'm assuming it's a ESC problem but unsure what.?? It has the standard 120A ESC

Hobbyking only stock the body shell in the UK. I'm assuming this car is a copy/clone of some other car or buggy so what if any parts would fit?

    Right then all was fine the other day i got a good 20 mins use in the garden using 3s and now when switch on all it wants to do is full throttle with no input! The ESC will not calibrate any suggestions?

    It's a hobbyking 120a esc with a team orion 4000kv 10t motor. I didn't even calibrate come to think. It did work spot on though for 5 mins

    The motor on my sc10 keeps running full power by it's self with no input on the transmitter. It's was fine for around 5 mins use then went loopy. Should mention that i have just fitted a new 120a speed controller all the setting are correct so? Any ideas

    When people say gear down does that me more teeth on the spur and pinion or less teeth. I'm new to brushless, 1/5 petrol is so much simpler

    Thanks for the reply's What gearing should this be running? I have a Team Associated SC10 2wd with similar problems running a Ezrun 9t motor. I've burnt out 2 of these motors using 87 spur and 21 pinion. The motor gets incredibly hot using 2s lipo what gearing should this have to keep cool and to be able to use it more than 5 mins?

    As title slash 2wd has a brushless leopard 9 turn motor with 19 pinion and 84 tooth spur gear. The motor wires including the motor keep getting very hot and melting the wires motor is also fitted with a fan. The same motor and esc have been used previously on a tb02 drift car with no issues with getting hot. Any ideas? Thanks

    As title, I bought a really nice Mk2 Escort bodyshell second hand which is the wrong size for my Maverick Strada DC evo s. It would fit with high off set wheels but now want a 200mm high quality Jap shell, S14 or similar. Also want to run 0 off set wheels to give a real wide stance. Any UK website suggestions.

    The 5000mah I've got is 20c also have a 3300mah 30c which doesn't last long either 3s 5000mah seems to drain really quick too and the motor gets even hotter. Seemed to last forever when the previous owner had the car on 2s. I've got a program card so is there anything I could try adjusting? Sorry I'm a newbie to brushless, seems complicated compared to my petrol powered Baja. Are there any decent lipo chargers about for around

    At the moment im running a Hobbywing Ezrun brushless 9t motor. It keeps getting way to hot so need help on selecting what gearing to use. It's got 21 pinion and 87 spur is this any good? What other gears will fit as I can't seem to find any parts in the UK? Also I'm using new Turnigy 5000mAh 2s lipo which only seem to last 10 mins any ideas why?

    I'm running 2s lipo now abd the motor seems much happier. The 3s battery i bought seems to have bulged ever so slightly and a little out of shape? Dunno if it was like this when i got it but could that have caused the motor to overheat?

    I'm used to petrol models so forgive me for being thick Team Associated SC10 1/10 2wd 87t spur was on 84t when I got 21t pinion 3s 11.1v lipo 5500 mah, 35c Motor setup is Hobbywing Ezrun series version 2? 9t 4300kv Settings unknown but came with program card, previous owner set this up and seemed fine. I'm using 2.4ghz 3 channel Fyksky Thanks

    I have just bought a SC10 with a Ezrun brushless motor setup capable of running 2s and 3s lipo. My problem is that the motor keeps cutting out and seems to get very hot. If I switch the car off and on it's fine again for 20 seconds then cuts out. The ESC and battery keeps cool, I'm running it on 3s lipo

    Also i've just got a Multiplex Rhino digi 4 servo is this a good upgrade from a standard km servo?
