  1. Yes, it's very good. I'm using one with a 650 battery at 2.5ohm coil
  2. Been having troubles with the rear wheels on my nitro truggy, turns out the rear diff is bone dry. I've freed it up with some wd40 - should the unit be filled with oil?? Should it have a seal? Or does screwing it to the chassis provide the seal?
  3. Just looked, bone dry in there!
  4. Update 2: If I force the wheels to move fowards together I get a clicking noise
  5. Privacy infringement?? Wtf!!! What a nice story to see in a local paper for a change, some people just can't help themselves. Good luck to your old man in all this.
  6. Update: The back wheels roll freely when I roll the car backwards on the floor but not when I roll it forwards? I'm confused.
  7. I've been bashing my hpi truggy down the beach over the winter months and been neglecting it a bit by not washing the salt of it (yes I know, I know!) now the back wheels won't turn foward together. If I lift the car up both back wheels spin freely (in opposite directions of course) but when I roll it across the floor the back wheels just skid. On close inspection the centre rear drive shaft looks ever so slightly bent...? What's causing this? (other than me) Thanks Lee.
  8. That's great advice TrickyTris thanks Just found a new 2 piece shoe and spring set on ebay for 5.99 too, result!
  9. My truggy wheels spin when off the ground at idle and they also spin when I pull on the pull start cord. Searching on the forum leads me to think it's clutch related. Which part needs replacing? Spring? I'm no expert on these things sorry!
  10. Did you solve this clutch issue?
  11. Im highly trained in saying 'there there' and 'awww' Advanced techs can administer polos too
  12. Advanced medical technician. Easiest description is I'm half way between ambulance driver and a full blown paramedic.
  13. Anyone got one their not using??
  14. Can't comment on the bullet but I've got a hpi trophy truggy which is pretty darn good
  15. With your medical history consulting your gp before a diet change is a must. If you tell them what you've told us I'm sure they'll take you seriously. Is the incontinence ibs related? I struggled to put weight on back along when weight training. The key to combating high metabolism is more regular meals of smaller amounts. I.e 5 mid sized meals rather than 3 larger ones. Gp first though. Brave post btw, respect
  16. Hello mate. Where in Cornwall? Im in St Austell
  17. Yes that's the transmitter. I'll try with hpi. Is that a rx box for a buggy? Doesn't look like the one in my truggy... Thanks for your help btw.
  18. Thanks for the replys guys but you've not helped me much! Either that or im just being a complete doofus.... With my handheld transmitter its the flip up aerial thing that's snapped - can I buy a new flip up aerial thing? With the receiver box I cant find a hole that the receiver wire should stick out of, I'm assuming the wire should stick out rather than remaining inside the battery/receiver compartment?
  19. How you getting on with this? Hope all is well.
  20. Hi everyone, I've bought a used trophy truggy and its awesome but could you help me on a couple of bits? The aerial on the tx has partially snapped, is it possible to replace it rather than buying a new tx? Should there be an aerial tube coming from the rx box? I can't seem to see it... Thanks
  21. Bashing is basically hooning around for fun as opposed to racing timed laps in classes
  22. Yeah cool although I'm not a racer. Hopefully you'll host bash events??
  23. I saw this on ebay and nearly bought it. I emailed the seller and they told me it was 5 years old but hadn't been used in competitions. After a bit of digging it looked like the seller was a bits n bobs pawn style shop so I stayed clear of it. Not sure how to advise you on where to go with it but if you're really not happy and if you paid with PayPal I'd take it up with ebay.
