  1. Definitely, some people don't realize the affect that the cold has on plastic. Almost every broken RPM part that I've seen, has happened in the cold. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Well I entered a raffler a couple weeks ago, and I won, didn't even have to buy a tick. It's based on the 1/16 scale rigs, so the upgrades are plentiful. The bumper is pretty cheap, it's just a silver sticker. It's actually a few stickers that they cut to fit.
  3. Well, I had to pick it up......but I didn't have to pay anything (I won it in a raffle).
  4. I'm down for either, I've got a new car to try out along with my Mini 8ight.
  5. Nice man, Stampedes are fun little bashers. You may want to look into the driveshaft mod, people are putting velcro around the hole in the chassis to keep dirt a rocks out.
  6. Nope, I used Gorilla Tape. I may try taping again once I get some new tires. I got tires of baking these and then fighting to get all of the adhesive off of the tire as well as the glue residue off of the bead of the wheel and tire. If the tape comes undone, the tires are useless, they are so out of balance that you can't drive. You either have to do what I did, or can them.
  7. You may want to go side by side. I ran tape down the center of my Trenchers and it made the inner and outer lips of the tread balloon out, this made outer tread wear more than my inner. After the tape came off a second time, I'm now running them untaped.
  8. Dynamite drivers have served me well, my next purchase will be a full EDS set.
  9. I'd like to, but I won't know if I can until later this week. I just found out that my boss has a drift car, I'm going to try to get him down there.
  10. I would keep a good set for my self and loan the cheap ones. You'd be surprised how long a screw head will keep it's hex after using a nice set of drivers, if your drivers are rounded, you're just eating away at you screws and won't realize until it won't come out during a teardown.
  11. What about some Imex tires? Traxxas used some K-Rocks on Maximizers for their "Revo Rocks" project.
  12. Depending on the transmission, it has a centrical clutch in it, I believe it'll have it unless it has a FOC. It won't engage until the spur gear is spinning at a set rpm.
  13. Anyone going tomorrow? It looks like it may rain, I'm probably going to head over there....even if it's just to swing by the shop.
  14. I'd like to, I'll let you know, I want to try my M8. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Trx=transmitter Rx=receiver Look in the manual and it'll have instructions on how to bind them. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Check and make sure the crystals are in nice and tight, also check for any loose wires. It may just be the frequency of your crystals, do you have any other crystals to try? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  17. You'll wake the engine up a little if you change to the tuned pipe and the new style high flow air filter. If you really want a better filter, look at Motorsaver filters.
  18. That's what I do, works great.
  19. What are the little grub screws on the arms for? I didn't put them in when I swapped my arms for RPM ones.
  20. Congrats man. Like others have stated, keep a couple, I actually picked my XXL up on the way home from the hospital when my son was born....I had two additions to my family that day. Still can't decide which is more expensive though.
