  1. Cut up some coke bottles or any clear plastic and practice. nice paint dude, nice designs and looks quite simple to do , time consuming but effective, what did you use to get those black gradiant pattern? Effective. gonna be starting my first shell this week or weekend, gonna keep the first one simple, loads of ideas. Been a spraypainter for years so that will help.
  2. +1 most of them are rc racing magazines, would like a general bashing and rc mag.
  3. Have a look on youtube at the brushed model your after, there not that quick, put me right off getting one, . Look at the videos of the joysway supermono x, its brushless, its quick , its nicely priced, and its a deep v so slightly less chance of flipping it.
  4. Probably so, but I dont think any of us would like it happening to our own orders. : ) Maybe ms will chuck me a free sticker lol
  5. Metallic body clips 2 more cans of tamiya spray body foam washers lexan curved scissors and by mistake ive also recieved someone elses order from ms it was 3 etronix reciever units totalling
  6. Createx are a nice brand to use, its what I use most of the time, ( waterbased) autoair also a nice brand, most airbrush paints will need a sealer coat, but this could be done with spray cans.
  7. Laquer will be touch dry fairly quickly, but still quite soft underneath, a good 24 hours should cure it enough. I take it you used spray cans, in which case it will have a hardener pre mixed. If brushed on out of a tin then you need to add a hardener, or it will always be tacky. Ive been spraying laquers for nearly 10 years now ; )

    Foams

Nice question, I would also like to know a bit more about inserts, ive seen others cutting out sections all round the edge of the foam, why's? And what fors would be good for some of us who are still learning.
  9. Lol you will vet your slash one way or another : )
  10. +1 on the carnage, good all rounder, and pretty quick out the box, shell is a bit weak , not broken anything on mine ever, and it seen some abuse, nice truck to sfart with.

  14. Not had bugs on rc but the BIGGEST spider ive ever seen found a way in to my kit bag when bashing at some new woods ive found, this thing had pincers , and had black and brown stripey body, terrified the hell out of me and the wife, got rid of it quick before the kids saw it. YIKES!!! and ive also had the dog mess clean up a couple of times, rc tyres spit that #$/^ everywhere, hate it hate it hate it. Could rant forever but you get the idea........

  17. You could just buy some pro line pro pulls or similar items, cheap as chips , those ones inthread are for sale all over ebay , someones making a few quid on them.
  18. Was it the removal team, or a so called mate. Sorry to hear that, I would properly lose it, if it happened to me. I would stick with another firestorm maybe a flux this time, these things can take some abuse and stay in one piece, luvvin mine so far. hope you get things sorted with your original gear. Let us all know how you get on, we would all like a happy ending for you.
