Well first impressions very nicely made. Most plastics are carbon as standard which were expensive upgrades on B4. All screwing together nicely so far instructions clear, supplied tools ok but prefer my Arrowmax drivers even though they are imperial and new car is finally metric. M8 bring whatever you like we have all sorts down there the lunchbox will be great on the Astro track I would like to see that. You literally pay your money at the shop up top 11 quid then spend as long as you like there. Really doesn't matter what you have for sure there will be expensive cars there equally young kids with 50 quid specials it's just good friendly fun If you become a member the 11 quid drops to 6 for each visit

I run at herts and yes on race days most people will have top kit at any other times then you can run whatever as it's just practice. Could meet you down there and let you have a go on my associated b4 as I am upgrading to a b5m now As for cost my setup was second hand and owes me less the 300

Eonon is a cheapie Chinese company they make what you are after and are actually real nice quality otherwise you are look at 500 plus for alpine kenwood units at that price buy a tom tom or put nav on your phone

Personally if you are not sure to find your local track on a race day have a look around and a chat with the folks see what they run how much it will cost you and if in the end it's for you. I race 1/10 and 1/8 buggys and truggys at my local track bashing is fun but running round a properly laid out jumpy track is awesome

Depends on the scale and what racing 1/10 1/8 on road off road 1/10 off road is mainly dominated by associated losi and Schumacher. 1/8 off road you have losi mugen hobao etc On road then yeah tamiya is competitive off road they don't picture on the racing scene

In future save loads of time by running them down in the car run for five minutes whip em out check cell voltage on charger get as close to 3.8v as possible the . Whack em on storage loads quicker and more fun if voltage still high run em again

On the second screen where it shows the voltage for each cell 3.80 3.81 is good enough for storage

If it gets to 3.8 just stop it the last bit sometimes never happens 3.8 is good enough

Give up its close Enough sometimes they don't make it nothing to worry about
