    Right so have it linked up to laptop to reload the esc. firmware is 4.1 under the power tab there's a pwr limit with options for forward and reverse both of mine are 'off' is that correct?

    Thanks rush. I calibrated it a few weeks back with the settings you suggested. Today I've put the esc in the truck to give its first run but having no joy . I've tried holding( or just pressing) the throttle at various points of the 'beeping' progress but motor doesnt budge. I can get a slight pinion judder with esc power on and rx power off, turn rx on , get the beeps then nothing. have given up in frustration atm but will go re calibrate on PC and have one last try.

    Do you have the latest version? havent had any freezing probs on iOS...apart from the two weeks after it first came out.

    As above, it's for a friend and as long as it's not bright pink like his current one I think he's open to anything. Painted or unpainted.

    Not sure about the st shell but cpi make a rear exit exhaust that fits inside the mt shell. Finding one in stock may prove difficult though.

      Designed to go in rx really. Full voltage of 8.4v may be too much and lower it's life span or burn it, unsure. Is it worth the risk? Annoyingly I can't find specs for it :rolleyes: If needs be if the fans total values are 6v 20mah then you can put resistor 100 ohm on the line to drop from 8v to 6v. if 6v 30mah then resistor 67 ohm. If 6v 40mah resistor 50 ohm. If it handles 7v then half all the resistor values above to drop from 8v to 7v. Will be safe that way. Need the specs really. You can then put the specs in here to calculate  res value.

    I think Pokemon go is great. Still have all my trading cards and loved playing it on the game boy. me and a friend decided at 10pm last night to take a walk down the lakes and had a right laugh!!! 3 hours later we emerged with 60+ Pokemon between us... And we weren't the only Pokemon nutters there at that time of night either lol. total cost of the night = absolutely nothing

    Totally with XV on this.... until thursday when I stumbled upon one of these creatures in my living room!! The torture had already started though as someone had set fire to the end of its tail. So I continued the punishment I learned from my old professor, mr Oak, by repeatedly throwing red and white balls at his face!!

    On a baja, yes totally agree. But on the blackout I think the gains are noticeable throughout compared to the the stock set up.

    Hard to say what extra power it will give but any tuned pipe will be a huge improvement over the stock pea shooter! air filter wise I went with the standard baja air filter. What Maverick do you have? Mt, xb ect......

    There's not many pipes to choose from unfortunately and even less to choose from that's available in the uk. The pipe I would recommend to you would be the ddm dominator, gives great performance across the Rev range. I got mine from freeprawn.co.uk. worth mentioning that this pipe sits outside of the bodyshell so you'll have to cut your shell to make it fit.

    Computers aren't really my strong point. Shall have another go later. just to confirm.... I take it the esc receives power from the PC?Nothing else needs to be connected to the esc? Just the PC to esc cable?

    Had another go at connecting the esc to the laptop last night using the driver saviown linked above, no joy never connected an esc to PC before so probably making a noob mistake somewhere lol
