  2. In the past i have had a really bad experience with HPI and there parts support. I had a Trophy truggy flux. it just seemed to constantly be broken. some how i managed to sell it. ill have a look at the fire storm but as i said i'm a little apprehensive about hpi.

  6. I've had my honcho since august and since then I've changes the servo and done a bamboo mod on the steering link (PM for Pics). Now i think it is time to do an upgrade on the link set up. The lower rear links flex quite a lot and the front 3 link constantly pops out. What would you recommend? I'm thinking of going all metal 4 link inc. the steering. Thanks, Rob

    Tank tracks

    the rc4wd predator tracks are made for rock crawlers and trail truck. they are about 3 inch in height but you need the special adapters for the axle. i would try the intergy tracks. Rob
  10. I recently bought an axial scx10 honcho. I have already replaced the servo with a savox wp and changed the rx and tx to a absima cr3p (wp) and the front bumper to a rc4wd tough armour. there is also rc4wd light bar and led lights. I am looking for a new ESC and motor combo which is waterproof and a full 4 link set aswell as a new steering link. Does anyone have any suggestions? i have looked at the Vanquish link set. Rob
  11. What I mean is instead of normal steering rods they uses te dampers from something like a tt-01 or 02 and if set up right then this might cancel out the problem because it is more flexible
  12. ive seen on some cars they have dampers instead of rods- maybe that might be a solution

  19. does it matter if the case has massive hole which is 'professionally' covered in gaffa tape

  21. if you hammer your car too hard the crown gears (the bg one inside the diff casing will go flat and strip which is what happened to me
