  1. The 3s was hot when i took it out, the Nimh hasnt been used, as after i took the 3s out and put the Nimh in, the car would barely move at all so i packed up and headed home to charge the batteries and investigate what has happened.. ill look into fitting a motor fan and cutting out some small air vents in the front. i think maybe the motor over heated and the nimh could well be shot..
  2. the motor was mad hot i couldnt touch it.. i didnt touch the esc never thought to at the time, it has since cooled right down, on the nihm stock battery the performance is just pants lol.. however on the 3s it seems ok now its completely cool.. its proper weird that the stock battery is giving such poor performance now. I've prolly only used that stock battery 20 times.. and the 3s prolly 20 times as well, could the car be used to the 11.1v 3s, so when the lower 7.2v nihn is in, it gives poor performance? either way on the 3s it seems ok now :/

Hey, Today i took my Kemora out for a bash on my local park, everything was fine until right at the end (figures) when i noticed that the car was unresponcive to acceleration, i figured the battery was done for. i have charged the battery and tried the car again, same thing, the acceleration is unresponcive, it does reach speeds, but it takes its time to get there.. have i fizzed the ESC? if so, what other esc could i use in place of the stock esc on the 4500kv motor there is a combo on msuk http://www.modelsport.co.uk/dynamite-fuze-mini-brushless-combo-4500kv/rc-car-products/374010 id rather not spend

Hey, My mrs bought one fo these 3 weeks ago, its my first rc car, ive run it on the NiMh battery and a 3s lipo, i enjoy both, its wicked fast on a 3s lipo and i find it really controllable, obviously ive lost it a few times but luckily no damage just scratches on the roof and rear spoiler, it likes turning over when doing doughnuts or sharp turns with power.. although nothing mechanical has broken yet, the tyre has come away from the wheel on one of the rear wheels, a bit of super glue fixed that. you do get 2 spurs with the car in the box, i also bought an extra pinion and 2 sets of wheels. oh and the 3s lipo and charger, after 3 weeks of bashing up and down my street/park its still in perfect working order, but being my first car, what i call bashing prolly isnt what you guys call bashing lol.. im quite carefull not to over turn or smash into anything.. i wd40 all my wheels parts after every run and clean all mud/water slug parts offa my car/insides also.. i absolutely LOVE this car, id recommend it big thumbs up! currently im "going pro" haha and saving for a E-Revo VXL, should have it in the next few weeks, hooked!!!! cant wait lol.. good review, cheers.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply, got the new charger yesterday, so tried with success to switch the esc on my car to lipo mode, it now blinks red when i switch it on then goes solid green, so success there, as said i got the new charger, its an orion on this time of the same design as the pocket lipo charger, i plugged in the new one, the lights went red then solid green i plugged in my lipo and waited ... ... ... after approx 2 hours and 30 mins all lights on the charger went solid green.. the charger was silent the whole time. ive charged the lipo 2 times with out problem. regarding programming the esc, it seems it only has 2 modes, (or 4) it has nihm and lipo mode and umm racing mode where there is brake (with smart break) or no brake.. which is a little sad as i noticed when i go backwards i cant make it go forwards or brake from backwards, so i cant stop the car when its going backwards which seems silly to me.
  6. just to answer your question about what colour the led is when i turn it on, it flashes green 2 times then solid green. it doesnt do anything when i attach the battery, it only flashes when i turn the switch to the on position.
  7. hey, cool beans, thanks for the help, hold on though, i just spoke to msuk, there going to send me a new charger which ill recieve tomorrow, ive to test that new charger and then ring them back, so tonight ill use the standard nimh battery and tomorrow after testing the new charger ill switch the esc to lipo cut off mode with your help, ill just read the manual quite a few times to see if i can suss it out on my own if your saying its easy it cant be that hard lol. so is it ok to hold til tomorrow when i get the new charger

  9. Hey, will do that today, i didnt run the battery completely flat, the car still had zip when i unplugged it, yeah though i think ive been lucky ill get a lipo bag today
  10. ahh sorry pal, missed the update, i do indeed have that esc, and it seems it does have LVC so ill give that manual a good read tomorrow to figure out how to enable it, if it isnt already. i would have thought though it would come factory set to on by default.. ill check anyway.. thanks for finding that for me. also no the battery isnt swelled, it doesnt even get hot while charging.. and its only warmish after use.
  11. looking at the cars manual it does'nt percificly say anything about LVC but it does say this for the LED function : Abnormal overheat both - leds alternately flash with 1 beep per second motor stalled - red led flash quickly then pause for second then repeats - with 1 beep per second battery over voltage - both leds solid red, green with flash every second and 1 beep battery voltage low - red led, flashing one per second with one beep per second. so does that mean i have LVC? i just have to listen for the beep every second?

  14. until what is sorted, the LVC or the charger? i think ill ring msuk tomorrow to arrange swapping the charger or something, im saving for a decent charger atm, but i still want this charger to work. ill stick with the stock 1200mah battery for the time being on the car, from your advice i think the charger is faulty.
