  2. this seems like a good deal for an electric brushless, I'm contemplating getting it myself for indoors use at one of my local clubs. It comes with everything you need plus change (that's the best part) http://www.modelsport.co.uk/ftx-vantage-1-10-4wd-brushless-buggy-rtr/rc-car-products/40388

  9. thanks guys, some good choices there, my main problem would be cash as I would be getting them at the same time. Would prefer RTR than kit too tbh, Last car I built was the Tamiya Escort RS Cosworth back in the 90's lol. Also considering the idea of 2nd hand rollers, already started looking on the For Sale pages on here.
  10. Hi guys My name is Paul, I'm 37 and from South Wales. I'm getting back into RC Cars after 19 years, I used to race a Tamiya Escort Cosworth that I built from kit form back in them days. I have owned a Tamiya TT-01 Subaru since 2005 but only used it in the local car park with my kids. Last month I purchased a Thunder Tiger TS-4n V2 Pro Subaru from Antics in Cardiff, and am having fun again. I have looked into local clubs, not many about any more, and have found a club that suits my needs for this year, and am looking at getting a couple more cars in the next few months (please see my post in Buggies) look forward to chatting with you all
  11. Hi Guys I'm getting back into RC Cars after a break of around 20 years and I am looking for some advice on what buy. I'm looking at 1/8th scale to run at a local club. I am thinking along the lines of an electric buggy or truggy (Lipo) and also a nitro, so I can at least have 1 car on the track lol. Electric wise I was looking at http://www.modelsport.co.uk/ansmann-racing-terrier-2.0-brushless-rtr/rc-car-products/39565 or http://www.modelsport.co.uk/thunder-tiger-eb4-g3-e-buggy-brushless-blue-/rc-car-products/38999 and Nitro wise I was looking at http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hobao-hyper-7-tq2-rtr-.21-3-port-edition/rc-car-products/367610 or possibly http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hpi-trophy-3.5-buggy-2.4ghz-rtr/rc-car-products/39707 I've been advised to stay away from the HPI as it breaks easy!!! I'm not too sure as I have seen videos on you tube that suggest the Hyper 7 is more liable to break than the Trophy. Look forward to hearing from you all regarding advice on which set ups to opt for. Thanks in advance
