Ive fitted the traxxas lcg to my 2wd drive slash and its loads better. Not been out for a proper bash with it but its alot more stable in the turns.

Only been able to give it a quick gun up the street today but it's definitely a big improvement! It stays a lot flatter when turning and doesn't feel like its roll over all the time. I put traxxas big bore shocks on but they aren't great and I can't afford pro lines so might look at the losi 8 shocks!

The sides of the body are not pushed out by the nerf bars like on the original chassis

Not had a chance to drive it yet! Motor wires are a bit tight and need to sort out a mount for the esc( held in with tape at the mo) but really like it!

Modelsport now have them! mine arrived yesterday! cant wait to try it out.

Wheelspin do the traxxas lcg and pro line lcg but no stock!

Had a look at radshape but nothing there! Didnt know wheelspin was still going? I will have a look thanks.

I'm guessing that there is world wide shortage if American shops are out of stock as well! Thanks for looking guys.

Morning, anyone know of anywhere in the uk that stocks LCG chassis for 2wd traxxas slash. Modelsport are out of stock of taxxas ones and anza. Would rather buy from uk but if nowhweres got them i might have to look to the u.s. Thanks

That's a very good point Andy! I stoped using the glow wire the very first time I took my jato out as it was too much for the starter pack to handle.

Stuck the biggest preloaders I had on my front shocks and now the front end is sitting nice and it's helped the handling as well. One day I might be able to justify buying powerstrokes but not anytime soon so this will do for bashing!

Did you clean the motor and fuel system out after the last time you used it? Could just be a bit bunged up with old fuel!

There are lots of lcg kits for the 2wd drive slash, anza have done one for a while now and traxxas have made one but getting hold of a traxxas one is impossible at the moment. Im holding out for the traxxas one as its cheaper than the rest, 1st of may modelsport think they might have them in stock! Ive put big bore shocks on mine for now and upgraded the shock towers(rpm) and its alot better than stock but im having issues with the front shocks at the mo(think stiffer springs are needed)

Both shocks are holding oil so I assume they can't take the punishment that the front end gets. Nice to hear someone else has had the same problem. Would love some power strokes but didn't have the funds at he time! Next thing to buy maybe!

Cant belive how bad that is! I have the ford flowtek on my slash and its taken a hell of a beating(got run over by the boy on his bike aswell)and its got no cracks at all. Some paint has come off where the body flexed on impact but still in one piece. Like someone else said maybe its pot luck.

Ive got the normal 2wd slash and a core rc hard case lipo fitted straight in. Would have thought a vxl would be the same!

So i fitted my 2wd slash with some big bore shocks and after running 4 lipos through it the front shocks have gone very saggy(not really able to hold the truck up). When i built them i did all the usual tricks to get rid of air and used the oil that came with them. Do i now rebuild them and go again or rebuild with different oil or springs? What do you guys think?

I too have a etronix photon combo and was looking to fit the etronix phaser 10 turn motor(540) but when i spoke to modelsport they said the photo esc cant run the 540 motor! They recomend i upgrade my esc and motor!
