I had one a few years ago. Was great fun. Better than a boat on a flat lake. Brushless these things are even more fun.

We held our first Oval Banger meet on Sunday. We usually race on a track rather than go around in circles and only allow minimal contact. This however was something a little different to what we are used to. Was great fun and hopefully we can host a few more of these events in the future.

Dont just leave it, especially if you are not sure about it. I had a small 1s lipo go bang the other day. It just burst into flames while charging! Luckily it was put out before it did any damage but went up in a proper fire ball. It was only a 600mah 1s aswell. Have you had the front diff out? You didn't put it back the wrong way? The front and back wheels will be going opposite ways. Not that i have done that before!

That looks like you have a motor wire not connected properly as it is 'cogging'. The slipper would make a 'whinning' sound. Check the connections to the motor as suspect one has come or is coming un soldered. Hope this helps.

Not sure if you have ordered from Hobbyking before? Just make sure you select your items from the UK Warehouse. A lot of people don't realise when ordering and end up having to pay import duty as they ordered stuff from the International one by mistake. There are a few lipo's on sale at the moment aswell

Haha, sounds like fun. We try and run them as a cheap beginner class without contact (supposed to be no contact) but sometimes i just cannot help myself! Its more cheap racing than Full bangers. We normally get together after racing and have a mess about which normally ends in some kind of destruction

That's because its not a Mardave haha. These things are so basic, running brushed 540's and a 4cell nimh. The yellow one has 2S Lipo and brushless 10.5 in it i think.

Thursday night fun with the GTB's.....

Had some fun with the FPV on the Banger. Daughter was loving it too. She drove it better with the goggles on than normal! some on board video too....
