  1. Bit of a change of pace from Mini qwads, wings and foamies but still fun.
  2. Still Racing Micro's and 1/10 on Thursday Nights in Plymouth if anyone interested. 1/10 and micro electric buggies. indoor off road fun for all ages. Set up a track from 6pm and racing from about 7.15pm Normally 3 or 4 5minute heats and a 6min final. Classes are Micro, 1/10 buggy and Vintage Find Us Here
  3. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD Hobao Hyper ST Electric conversion with a decent machined motor mount and Losi battery tray.Big bag of spares, diffs, gears, plastics, shocks etc (see pics) Think it may have a few ST parts on it but i am not 100% sure. Transmitter and Receiver(s) if i find a couple more Various body shells. 1 decent with a few 'basher' shells Hobbywing 150A esc and Tenshock motor but there is a fault somewhere. Not sure if it is the esc or Motor? No servo As I said, has an issue with electrics, needs a servo and a little clean. Its had some good use, been great fun but i am more interested in flying at the moment and its just taking up room. I can box it up ready for collection by your favourite courier if you arrange it from Plymouth PL6.
  4. i just got one of these to fly indoors from Amazon. The reviews are actually very good but not had it out the box yet. The idea is to add a little fpv camera above the cockpit Also purchased a Ares Taylorcraft130 which does fly very nice. Looks nice and scale too. Also has the option to upgrade to brushless and parts are also available. keep us updated on how you get on with it.
  5. I have two P2K and they are great for the money. One i modified so the wings are attached with rubber bands for a quick on and off. They fly well on the slope and easily take a Gopro style camera. The fuse is very strong and takes alot of impact (lots of granite on Dartmoor)!
  6. Built some little gates for mine a while ago and then got afew of us together.
  7. Did you get one? I have loads of Losi 8 bits. Will ahve a look later if you still need one. Is it from the first Losi 8 or the 2.0/3.0?
  8. You probably sorted something but i would make a cut out in some foam and mount it inside. Then stick it to the inside of the roof and have it pointing out the windscreen. Would keep it safe on rollovers.
  9. Looks good. Had some Turnigy ones and also some other ones but i cant remember what they were. These are on sale at the moment.... https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-200mah-1s-35-70c-lipoly-battery-5pcs.html i built another with a Beecore and the fast motors but the batteries dont last long at all with the juicy motors.
  10. Just a small collection of mishaps........... Now lets see yours!
  11. Good fun these are. Got a few of us together and made up some tracks to fly last winter. Might do the same this year. Gates are easy to make with some cheap Hulahoops from The Range, cheap LEDs from ebay and some 9v batteries from the ££££shop.
  12. If you want something cheap to try you could try one of these. This is small and has the camera and video transmitter in one little unit. Just need a 5v power supply. Think this one even has a DVR which will record onto Micro sd card. https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-DVR03-DVR-AIO-5_8G-72CH-025mW50mW200mW-Switchable-VTX-520TVL-14-Cmos-FPV-Camera-p-1117419.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN You will then also need a receiver in the form of some FPV goggles or a screen. You can spend a **** load on this gear but these are the cheapest and easiest way to get into it. https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-VR006-VR-006-3-Inch-500300-Display-5_8G-40CH-Mini-FPV-Goggles-Build-in-3_7V-500mAh-Battery-p-1158147.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN
  13. First flight of my C-47. Always great when they come back
  14. Been thinking of a similar build myself when funds allow. The inav stuff looks great for the money too.
  15. Cheers. Yeh the hobbywing ones are usually very reliable. Just wondered if it was a common fault or not. Will replace it when funds will allow.
  16. Have a Trackstar 120A V2 esc in my B44.3. Its fine for a few Races and then randomly loses. This can happen when i turn it on or half way through a race where it will gradually turn the throttle up so i never have any neutral point. Bloody annoying! Any ideas? Anyone else had this? i assume its the ESC that is at fault and not the handset? I am currently Calibrating it just before i use it which seams to be working but a is a PITA!
  17. Could be the motor on the way out? Sounds like the motor got too hot to me.
  18. Bit of flying fun this weekend with with a range of stuff from quads to gliders. Couple of screen grabs from my Teksumo being pursued by a Bix and Quad.
  19. Awesome weather at the moment so getting out and about https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=XMoU8crn8so&feature=vm
