    Tekno sct410.3

Hi all, Money burning a hole in my pocket; looking for a tekno sct410.3 I have bodyshell and electrics but if you've got one rtr I'd probably still take it. Paypal waiting. Cheers!
  4. Sold! Hi all, For Sale I have an ABSIMA CR4T transmitter, 4 channel telemetry Receiver and Spare Waterproof 3Ch Receiver. As per the kit it includes the voltage, temperature and speed telemetry modules with all the wires, (one of the wires does have a tiny knick in it, but works fine). I will include the set of Absima rechargeable batteries too. Transmitter is also convertible to left handed (that's how I drove). Also works with VRC Pro with a micro USB cable (also included but not pictured). Also included if the buyer wants it is a spare transmitter handset, (Absima replaced it as it as one of the trim buttons broke, so would be ideal for spares) Selling as I changed to Spektrum, Looking for
  5. Its so the motor fits the brushed vantage uses a 550 size can and the brushless a 540, its so you can accommodate the 550 size can
  6. Yeah he's a member Thing is even with an alloy or steel spur gear, you'll still get bits of sand in there, and unless your running the same strength pinion and spur you will always risk ruining one, If you were into modding you could try and fit a baloon or something around the mesh to stop this happening?
  7. I think the link is a few pages back, a guy (sorry cant remember his name) posted up some 74t and some 64t ones,

  9. No worries, you could always cut down the originals if you were handy
  10. Hi mikeald. If you are worried about the nut falling off you can get nuts which are more low profile and flanged to hold onto the rim better (such as the xray xb4 wheel nuts) but if you are looking for abit of added saftey I'd use some threadlock on the rear wheels
  11. If you dont mine me asking how was it better without the sensor cable? did it just judder less? and let us know how you got on with racing it. I've pretty much changed mine into a drift pig because I run an xray xb4
  12. Hi Devin, That "cogging" usually happens when you are running a sensorless setup (sorry if you already knew this!), when you said it makes no difference if you take the sensor cable out it tells me that either your esc sensor port, the cable or the motor sensor board is feked. (which probably is a quality control issue with leopard gear, I stay away from it now and just get proper branded esc's and motors) My Brushless RTR did this after I changed to a leopard esc and motor and it was naff, I changed cars after this as it wasnt a club level racer sadly. Also have you managed to break any of the rtr wheels yet? I think I've broken 2 or 3, so if you are racing on high grip astro might be worth investing in some of the solid disk wheels from hobbyking as they are dirt cheap. Cheers Tristan
  13. Seconded on the praise they look great, also 42 views already??! nice work sir.
  14. Have a look at the Quanum Vandal rear wings, (from hobbyking) if your willing to wait its like
  15. Hey jari, tried ping you about the used pinions but the message won't go through could you message me? Cheers Tristan
  16. Its probably a pretty heavy car due to the fact that the diffs and bits are all metal, The composite ones in my xb4 are really light and reduce the rotating inertia quite alot, when I get my other car I'll weigh up some of the differences so you can see, and I'll weigh my xb4 properly. Also be aware shock shafts on these are made of cheese, advise getting alot of them as spares. or taking drastic action to stop them fully drooping (fuel line as described in this thread somewhere) and I bent a front driveshaft and twisted a rear dogbone with a heavy crash before.
  17. That is pretty heavy, I think My xray xb4 weighs in at 1,6kg, Thing is you cant get stiffer springs for the vantage, :/ unless you know of any that fit? Im getting another xb4 soon so If the springs from that fit I'll let you know
  18. Thats a fair wack of money for a servo that only does 0.19s 0-60deg, Have a look at the alturn ones from JEmodels about
  19. Fair enough, for a moment I thought that you were running the unsensored 9t version I had, and its an absolute weapon of a motor. I think you might be right, but the pro version will still be pretty heavy, if you get chance could you weigh it without electrics for me? I've got the alu quanum vandal chassis on mine because I broke the standard one but I'll weigh mine when I can and see what the difference is, have you put the electrics in it yet?
  20. Edited thanks And if you search metal gears its the ones someone called daveyboi73 who supplied me mine, He may have some left, but again I have my slightly used one for sale if anyone wants it pm me and we can arrange a price Also Capri-boy, I have a few 0.6mod pinions I think 24,25 and 27 if you were interested in them? all unused but out of packet
  21. Look through the entirety of this forum, theres an image somewhere that shows how to get the best steering out of the buggy, also it might be due to the fact that the End points of the steering throw arent adjustable on the kit transmitter, Or the servo horn might not be in the right place on the spline, ie getting more steering one direction and less the other, Also I trimed abit of the steering arm away to give more throw, as it didnt look like it did anything Hope this helps. Tristan
  22. Could just be that you are setting the mesh too loose or too tight, are you running brushless or brushed? Failing that, I have a metal spurgear made by someone on this forum that I'd happy to part with (for a cost) as I dont use my vantage anymore. but it is 48p not the standard 0.6mod Edited; 0.6mod not 1.3 its been a while since I spoke Vantage ahah
  23. No worries I've done it a few times, if you are worried about the nut coming off just put abit of threadlock on it (but not too much!!)
  24. You've porbably just overtightened the FR wheel a tad, being plastic hexes mean they deform slightly, try loosening that wheel, failing that take a look inside the diff, (just make sure you put it back in the right way round!)
  25. read through the thread to get the best idea of what spares to carry
