I spent a couple of hours cleaning my rc cars, I noticed that lots of parts eg suspension, ball joints, steering joints etc were all lose/ wobbly. Is it standard procedure to replace certain parts as part of the general maintenance or has my car had a hard life? I've only ever really used it for car park bashing so I don't think it's been abused. If this is the norm where do I order replacements from. Thanks in advance if your able to help. Will
I'll try that tomorrow, can I just ask what may be a silly question, somebody confused me today, 1 turn on the screw is a complete 360 degree turn of the screw yes??
I got it to work today 4 turns high jet, 5 turns low jet, had loads of probs then found it had smoked a brand new glow plug, changed it and was ok, I keep getting the silly high idle too, don't get thrust rated with it, we'll get it right in the end
Went over fairlop rc today, had probs with tuning and getting it to run. Got it going in the end with thanks to one of the guys over there, if your reading thanks very much. He found that my brand new glow plug had failed, before it died on track it done a boggy sounding lap then stopped. When the guy took it out it was black and dooty and wouldn't glow with the glow stick, what caused this? Was it excessively rich or lean and what jet? Higher or lower? The rc car in question is a mta4 s50 8.2cc
Thanks in advance if anyone can help and thanks again to the guy that helped me out if your reading
I've got the eb4 s2 pro as well as my sledgehammer s50. I wanted to sell the eb4 to pull some money back after buying the truck but decided to keep it as a fail safe, I've jumped it, smashed it crashed it and even let my younger cousins use it and it is actually bullet proof, it's easy to tune aswell, it will basically run in all states of tune even the worst. I would defo recommend the eb4
I found a couple of really helpful pics on here as I was having the same probs
I don't know who posted them first but I owe them big, was getting very frustrated
Hello I just got one too, day before yesterday. I ran it in as per the booklet and it now runs brilliantly. I had a bit of trouble getting it tuned to run initially but found this on here (see below) I don't know, which post I found it in or who put it on here originally but I owe them big haha.
Have fun and let us know how you get on
When are you going next, just bought a TT MTA4 s50, fed up with smoking out my garden and would like to have a bash at the track. Are there any other places in Essex that you all frequent, I live in Brentwood, do you have an Essex meet?
