  2. for? feel free to pm me with a slightly more detailed answer lol
  3. Cureently sold pending payment are the following: Wheels and tires 5T shell and conversion kit plastics Turtle racing front tower and shock brace Everything else is still for grabs
  4. I ran ec5s for a very long time on both a losi 8 buggy, a savage hp and e revos. I never had any issues or heat. I was even running the cheap hobby wing fakes at one point with no issues! only thing i can think is the soldering isnt up to par, you need a pretty hot iron to warm the bullet from the outside and melt the solder inside. Once melted you add the wire and continue to hold it until the wire becomes loose and the solder flows around the inside the bullt. add a little more solder to fill any gaps and then allow too cool with the wire as straight as possible
  5. 5t parts sold, pending payment to curby. Now looking for offers on the rest of the truck, whole or in bits. also have the charger and the spektrum radio
  6. replied, please throw in your offers for parts, preferably a few at a time so im not positing out 100 parcels if i do split. plenty of hop ups their and nice radio too boot
  7. for the time im trying to have it sell as a whole guys. I have no idea on prices i will have to price everything up if and when the times comes to make sure i dont loose out splitting it. If you want too make offers on a bulk load of parts then feel free to try and persuade me
  8. il bare it in mind bud, but im hoping the lot goes in one lump so i can go and buy new toys haha
  9. bit of an update for you guys, had some interest but nothing that made me want to part. Since then the truck has been pulled apart and cleaned up. any screws requiring new ones where replaced with innovative screws. The engine was taken apart and cleaned up The steering servo requires new inner gears,
  10. i use helmets made by caberg, i currently own a hi vis florescent yellow one which i think looks pretty good. its also a flip front so you can have it open if you really want. all that for
  11. certainly nothing wrong with them, its air cooled and a simple belt transmission it has a disc front and a drum brake rear but on a 50 or a normal 125 this wont be an issue. itl commute just as good as any other ped, possibly offering a little more wind and rain protection from the front due to the large flat styling
  12. it depends which models you look at. to be honest the bigger brand bikes run engines such as minerali (spelling may be wrong) and many models share the same engine. their pretty easy to work on, the only major difference between some models will be wether its liquid or air cooled. Try and avoid peugeots, even if they look nice they are known to be slow and the immobilisers are known to pack and and cost a fortune to bypass. If your budget allows i would suggest buying any of the following Piagio NRG Gilera stalker Gilera runner Yamaha aerox (or its foreign cousin the mbk nitro same bike different name) Vespas etc will also hold their value like the above as these are the ones people try and buy due to the looks and the components used in them. things like the zip 2 stroke are a little less diserable but still good scoots. Bigger older vespas with manual gearboxes certainly wont be as simple but modern auto vespas will use a cvt the same as any moped and as such are fairly simplistic to look after
  13. a 50cc can be plenty nippy enough, a 2 stroke model once derestricted will generally travel at 40-45. a 4 stroke model once de restricted will pull to around 40 just slower. 18 miles in london will see you rarely get past 40 so 50cc is fine, commuting wise, once your happy to lane filter you will find it a blast and quiet possibly enjoy yourself, any ped will filter like a dream on litle wheels. If you have a full car license and have held it longer then 2001 you can ride a restricted 50 without a CBT. And lets face it every 50 out their is derestricted so dont sweat that haha. Now for costs and figures, buy a good brand bike, piagio, vespa, gilera, yamaha. Reason being is resale will stay higher longer. you can get a sym for a few hundred but it will be worthless when you sell it. Be safe and use a big chain. Bike gear wise. Waterproofs are all thats needed, leathers will do nothing at london speeds other then be costly and uncomfy, a good jacket can be had for
  14. what sort of cash do you have to play with fella, no point everyone showing you what they have if your budgets only 400 or so
  15. the arc s is cracking! i have the arc and its a fab phone. all be it the most un water resistant phone ever (i know that sounds daft but having been out in the rain with my phone in my trackies, my pockets got wet as did the phone and it conked out for a day!) this has happened a few times lol but other then that i love mine, huge screen, good battery will do me a day roughly has all the bells and whistles really with a good camera and good video
  16. good on you bud, keep it locked up safe. bike thief's are hot at the moment. its good to see you doing the work, it will be worth the wait when it comes to your 16th and you will have a decent appreciation for the bikes value and power haha
  17. Dont change the airbox fella. the most you want is what you have allready. maybe a 70cc kit but to be fair the rs 50 with arrow pipe should keep you happy. i own a 10 plate rs 125 alitalia rep and a gilera runner 1999 sp 2 stroker. Cant beat the smell and sound of a raspy stroker! as for the 125 out doing a 400, doubtful, but i know i can woop my brothers 1.6 golf to 80 any day of the week on the rs. The runner is a stealthy project and will eventually be a little 183cc screamer
  18. I havent touched this in an age! last run was with tectic and the car ran lovely, bar the steering servo giving up 8-( This is a mix of my paja and my original built baja back from 2009 i think. Anyway its looking sorry for itself under a mass of stuff in my garage, so whilst i decide wether to sell it or simply keep it, i thought id clean it up and change anything needing it. So far theirs nothing damaged, broken or missing! RESULT haha tonights progress is as follows, not alot but i have given the engine a good scrub and wd40
  19. less then 10k all i knew was dublin!
  20. the car has reverse, reversing the throttle will only mean neutral is full throttle. you need to flick the 3rd channel switch on the dx3s controller. If doing this doesnt solve it, it could be a linkage issue or gearbox. you can try manually selecting forward or reverse by simply pulling or pushing on the linkage. as for the engine issue, sounds like a dead glow plug too me. The lst2 had a bomb proof eneigne. the xxl however is known to leak and be a pita to get the tune right. The seem to come lean from factory and many blow up way to early due to being run this way. throw in a new plug and check the engines tuned nicely with good smoke
  21. my old v twin hyosung used to suffer terrible from the rear cylinder overheating due to the fact it was laid out like the above. but to be fair the load these engines are under requires far less cooling. bet it goes well and sounds mint
  22. it is an rs125 yes, and it due to the l plates still attached haha. no full license
  23. Well i haven't really touched my baja in some time, and heres the reason why..... i kind of have a new hobby. just as expensive but still great fun. its a Gilera runner sp 125 2 stroke. nippy for what it is and its completely stock. even had 80 on the clocks. Will be saving up over time and fitting a big boe kit and new crank along with many other lovely parts..
