  1. as the title says guys! i can pick up a pretty much mint nitro truggy for cheap and flog on the nitro running gear what i need to know is whats needed to make it brushless ready, motor mount, servo mount? etc etc and will the flux parts simply bolt onto the nitro chassis or are they not drilled the same? tried googling it but not come up with much thats of use cheers kris
  2. you can buy thousands of like for a few quid online, chances are the winner will use this tactic
  3. gotta say i like this one! it seems they get a good rep with the buggy and monster version
  4. forget ubers extenders they fail and the warranty is naff from my experience grab a set of vertigo extenders, cheaper and a better build
  5. most likely the on and off switch has failed, if its the type that isnt on the esc, ie the wires come away from the esc and lead to a switch they fail easily and on most mamba max esc systmes people would solder the wires so its on all the time
  6. consider a p/x on a sony ericsson arc?
  7. is the radio included a 2.4 handset? could be interested as a park basher
  8. haapy bday fella, dam shame its on a monday!
  9. cant comment on the nitro side of things, but i was a revo fan and still think there fantastic, just a little too well built and predictable for my liking. i then got a savage flux and loved it, was a bit more awkward to work on and such but they drive like a monster truck, wobbly and wheely mad and generally very fun, i miss mine alot
  10. like the set, fancy dooing a slightly darker grimier dnb set? old school stuff like warhead etc i listen to music for around 2 hours a day walking so i burn through music and mixes fast haha
  11. watched the all stars drift up london early this month, was awesome, gotta love the sound of rotary and turbo'd cars red lining
  12. yer rain is horrid! today has been rough where i am, but i got my newly built 172cc out for a quick blast hehe smaller wheels do make it a little rougher, but thats just the way peds are you get great low speed manoeuvring but you dont get high speed stability or a smooth ride over bumps lol
  13. theirs a chance tha rear shock maybe slightly adjustable, but scooters do generally suffer from a slightly stiffer firmer ride to improve handling and road feel. ask the dealer on the first service maybe they can adjust the preload to suit you better glad its going well and yes cars will pull out on you! bikes are no better but at the end of the day a car into car is bad, a car into bike can be fatal. when filtering near any side roads slow down as you pass them, cars, cycles and bikes can squeeze out and if your filtering you wont be seen!
  14. yer the start stop is a bit different huh! it doesn't use a stater motor it uses a generator or something to fire it up! looks good tho and black would be my colour of choice too
  15. guys guys, hes a grown fella after a london commuter. the pcx wins hands down for what he wants, its all well and good getting an sr50 with lovely graphics but its not what he needs not to mention the inaccuracy of a 70mph sr50 hehe just not happening
  16. my choice if i locked my bikes up ever, which i will do when parked in rougher areas, would be a cheap alarmed disc lock, purely too make a lot of noise, and a nice thick chain. The thicker the better tbh and when you do chain it up remember to wrap the chain up round the wheel or frame a few times so its not loose. if you leave a chain with too much slack it makes cutting it or prising it apart with a car jack a dam sight easier
  17. i actually sat on a pcx in my local dealers, they look cracking! so unusual and stylish if it drives like it looks youl love it, let me know how it goes as i considered picking one up for cheap commuting over my 2 stroke fuel guzlers!
  18. whats the best youl do on this bud, they only retial at
  19. Wheels painted as are a few other bits, so its rolling again, heres a shot of the bike outside running minus the air filter
  20. Finally got some bits done to the project runner Only bits left too fit are my 172 kit and my carbon reeds currently fitted are my 25mm delly carb, open intake and straight inlet manifold, TDR race exhaust system back wheel and some of the pannels are drying after a coat of paint to freshen it up! gotta love a raspy 2 stroker
