Took my brushed car out and blew the ESC in the snow.. _ YES mrs cant moan about a replacement brush-less system.. So then took the Truggy out and erm, The spur iced up on the gears and pushed the pinion over and rounded the teeth.. Ah well more upgrades ordered lol

Il upload a video when its done.. Me yesterday with the brushless Rc racing round the garden in the snow.. Dog chasing me.. Until i turned it round and chased the dog until the spur gears iced up pushing the pinion over and taking all the teeth of it haha.. Ah well was fun, Just had to order a few new bits lol

Sorted spoke to my local rc hobby dealer and he has some new sensored motor and combos coming in.. They have not been released yet apparently but there 150A waterproof escs, Have a usb to hook up to the computer to modify alot more accurately, and the motors meant to be awesome.. Im looking for something with more go that will last abit longer but yet waterproof..for a budget of around

Its running Etronix 9T brushless motor and matching esc.. Car was originally brushed and got it changed in the local rc shop to brushless with this motor gear.. So not sure if it was originally tamiya or bullet... It was Tamiya from new when brushed. Its an FTX Carnage

Its all Tamiya connectors... Its how it came :/

At the moment there bullets 4.5mm. Im Needing Tamiya connectors.. Any ideas on links on replacements.. Thanks Ash

Yes the first one has the T16 tomcat engines yes :-) Not bodged like most conversions lol

First ones not completed but around 350-400hp after mapping.. Also its not a show cage, I wouldnt do that.. Its an Fia spec roll cage 49.8mm x 3mm seemless tube, Bolted to strength points in the chasses with M10 and nylock nuts 8.8 ( standard world rally car thickness ) This cars going to be broken in the near future to fund the White T5 build... Also it did have Buckets and harnesses: But they were only used for track days as my back killed on long journeys Also in the pic the seats all the way back so looks tucked under the cage, But in that position im about a foot off the pedals and steering wheel lol The T5 engine Found in the focus Rs is a perfect block to start from. The build im going to do with this car im hoping will achieve 550hp+ and more... But time will tell

Iv not got that particular model.. But they are very durable, Only down side i would say is shells been on the thin side and not very strong, Hooked up to a 2s 3800mah 45c lipo and there stupidly quick..

Just what i wanted to know.. Thanks guys for your input, Car will be left as is until i get more use to the car, Upgrades will be added as they break but motor wise il leave until i can handle what i have and stop flipping the dam thing.. Much appreciated Ashley
