  2. Cheers Suppose you can make most bajas wheelie stockers wheelie, but mine didn't well only the fake sort when you hit a bump at the right revs and angle. Just wanted power wheelies straight off the bat without changing to torque petals, so now I get torque and revs on the same set up [emoji106] Well I've made a few more tweaks since that vid I just hope it's a step toward and not 2 back, will find out soon enough.   3. Time for an scz bump with a vid I've changed quite a few things on my baja over the last few weeks, and now got over 30 hrs on this motor.

Proof is in the running of the engine not guessed tanks actual time, the OP post 32 get just over 16k your 32 around the same both of you don't heat cycle. Going round a field at 16-17k ain't ragging nothing when compared to 20-21-22k yeah you could say that's all the other engines can rev to? Well all the engines I've had have hit 20k my bros has hit 19k on his 32 yes 19k on a 32 not 16-17k these are facts not just plucked out of thin air. The only thing that heat cycling does that you my class as a negative is fool the plug, but running round at just over tick over if that's what ya do does anyway. Has for OP I said no way as that piston got 30 hrs HR's on it, and it's been wiped since when do ya get brown Pistons? I'm talking 30 hrs running not since fitted. Still wait on these snapper TR clutches you have prove of that actually work for longer than a tank, remember Dave said these clutches are the last clutch you'd ever need for big bores but not 1 vid of one lasting more than a few mins. Again and last time now cos I've got more important things to be doing, other than explain why my engines or my bros engines seem to run better than yours. Do your running in as you please just hope some poor bloke checks this thread out when ya sell your engines One last thing Harvey you've got an scz? 2 if I'm not mistaken, so thrash the pants off one no running in and then heat cycle the other it's that simple. Also nitroholic Not sure how you can say heat cycling is bad part from fouling the plug but the rest is well let's say false, these engines are not weed wackers and deffo not a BZM/SCZ But a strimmer/chain saw hits 11k well my chain saw does so not maxing out the revs are they, so not really a very good point to make is it.
  5. I no for a fact 30 hrs ain't on that piston and it's been wiped, your spark plugs leaking and black oil, that same black gets burnt on the piston. You exhaust leaks real bad or had done before and so does the engine from the left bolt has pictured, and also left centre just pointing this out like. Sent via tapatalk on a mobile devise.

LOl the person in that vid is Dave's best mate on HBF and he baby's his trucks around, lets at least agree on that hay and ask the question why so many engines? 1 I think you'll find the snapper clutch to be very unreliable so where's the proof? 3 personal never seen any c clips come off from new, only rebuilds but not saying it don't happen. 4 30 hr's is a long time what engine's this again? 320? how long you had it, any pics of inside because a clean piston means it's not run 30 hrs but clearly clean can mean dirty to others.
  7. No John it wasn't directed at you simply, I just do what works or what as worked for me based off the info I get from test I do with the tackle I have. I said right from the off do what your happy with, but doing a little digging seems the OP just wanted attention and nothing more.

  9. Dan who gives a crap peace of mind not peace of mind, all I no is my engine revs my bros 32 used to Rev both run in and heat cycled. I do what I do because I can do what I want, what you need to do is read the thread title. But in all honesty I don't have a clue why I heat cycle, all I no is I used to do 2 but been as though a got a peace of junk clone scz I thought I'd give this one 3 for peace of mind. I just say it's from YouTube and may well be OBR but I can't confirm this cos it's 3 plus years ago. I think you forget all the post you put up of ALL the issues you have every other month and how many engines you had? And like I say the ones you've not had issues with your prob sold on. So not utter cheap is it Dan you say 20 plus tanks flawless? Like I said before and getting boring repeating it over and over that 20 tanks is wait WAIT 15 hrs max that's FK all. You've said it in post when your 32 was running like crap that it's been run in proper? I can't be bothered to dig it up. I've said from page 1 page do what ever works for you, as in anybody not just you so why do you and side kick keep questioned my way of running?   10. Why ? how does not heat cycling give you peace of mind Dan? Almost every engine you've had as had some issues, maybe heat cycle the next and see for yourself if it makes a difference. But have you actually had an engine long enough to give detailed data? I have and most my engine running is on the limit 20+k not 16k even the 32 you had didn't Rev my bros 32 revved to 19 plus when it was right how much does 316's Rev to say no more. But you seem run yours in different all the time so not very good for offering info, and it's always run in proper? So where's this proper way of running in?

The scz got to 72 deg and that's plenty hot enough to keep your hand off it, the first 1/5 scale I had said in the manual run the engine in on idle only for a full tank this is some 8-9 years ago and never had not one issues with that never even changed a plug in it.   15. Lol but you don't have to run a horse in like a car, new cars nothing says about running erm in now not the last 3 new cars I've had anyway. But older cars they gave you running in sheet saying don't exceed X amount of revs until X amount of miles and don't labour the engine, now how long do new cars last before there FKed compared to older cars? The only way to truly no would be for me to get a tuned zen and thrash the crap out of it, no running in just thrash the crap from the off then compare with what I've seen with my old heads. As said still got one of the heads the one that had 86 hrs is in the bin, the 30 plus HR's one I've still got. But what I think it achieves well all my engines have revved to the moon, and only broke the heads not worn erm out. The pics below are after 86 hrs that's many many tanks, most it's life pulling 18kg of baja that engine don't quite Rev like my SCZ but still maxed the TTO out so IMO tuning in achieve longer life and a better performing engine. Deffo be intreating then people would no who not to buy engines from [emoji23] Personally do 3 heat cycles that consist of 10 mins idle and fully cool before starting again, then the remainder of the tank steady running. 2nd tank half throttle running steady with a few blips towards the end, and allowing to cool a few times but kept the engine running. 3rd tank same as above but wot runs for a second or two, then drive like its stole. I also change the end points so one can't get giddy and wot. Max head life before the head cracked due to quite a few bad landings was 86 hrs, head number 2 cracked around 35 hrs both zens.   18. I'd like to no where you get over heating from just idling? Agree we all run in different and what suits one don't always another, got my first 10 min heat cycle on the tube from when I got the scz new max temp was 72 deg idling for a full 10 mins It can't overheat if the fuel mix is correct it's got a fan that gives plenty of cool air for 3.5k revs Sent via tapatalk on a mobile devise.

  20. The difference is how they flex X weaved are more flex resistant, less flutter at high RPM's means more revs but there's a fine line you just have to no where it is [emoji106]
  21. A few more vids of today a slow mo vid I think these look brill, and a vid thrashing around testing my new custom petals only got 20140 revs but these are more for all round bashing a bout middle of the road performance wise. Can't put proper vids up till the forum gets sorted
