  1. Bending links gives them clearance of the shocks I think, the shocks I don't know, its just what I've read.
  2. Cheers pal I'll give it a try, and does it make much difference relocating the electronic bits as long as the battery has been lowered.
  3. Hi all, loving reading everyones input its helped me a lot with my scout up to now. Just checked my tyres, I've one on the wrong way lol. So far I've dropped the body and trimmed it, shortened the shocks and I thought I'd weighted the wheels til I read how much you boys are running, I've only got 84g in each front and half that in the rears. I'm a bit stumped about the best way to move the shocks in board and how to bend the link things. Oh did the bumpers and lug thingies too, dremel rules lol.

    Xsara WRC Shell

I recently bought a Tamiya Citroen Xsara WRC body shell off ebay. Well, it arrived with no rear spoiler or mirrors, prob my fault for not reading the description right. Anyhow if anybody has these parts on a bashed up shell in good condition and they are done with them drop us a line and I'll sort you out. Would love to do this shell properly as I owned a Xsara VTS in real life a few years ago and its been my favourite Rally car of all from the first time the 2ltr kit car embarassed the WRC gang haha. Any help would be much appreciated
  6. Hey up, I bought a Scout about 5 weeks ago just for bashing about in the back yard and I love it. Like you I didn't want to spend hundreds on something I wasn't going to enjoy but i'm hooked now. Got some new tyres on order now and looking to get some weight in the wheels before I fit them. All in all I'm well pleased with it. Enjoy pal. mb
