for sale is my castle 1415 2400kv motor, only been used around 8 times on 4s to 6s but only twice on 6s. has a few scratches here and there but other than that the motor runs perfectly. comes with a 5mm shaft and 8mm bullets soldered on. motor will also come with the original rotor that came with the motor which has never been ran before. wanting

about to order a 1527

i have 2 projects to do over winter. convert the mi4 to run 6mm belts on front and rear along with running 36t pulleys instead of the old 20t pulley. the other thing i have to do to it is swap out the motor to a new one which will be a 1521/1.5D or a 1527 for when i up the voltage lol dragster speed project: fit a esc,motor, lipo's and tx/rx

i use a external battery pack on my xl2 as i have been told that the BEC in the xl2 can be weak and is prone to fail if it comes under a high amp draw from a servo or anything else it is connected to, this is why some xl2's fail most of the time, other times you can just get a bad esc.

i use a 110ohm resistor on my xl2, been installed for nearly a year with no problems at all, well until i pulled it off by accident lol

if you are looking into 1/8th on road cars look at the ofna dm1 or gtp2e, very good car and stable at speed, i would put a castle 1515 motor in it along with a hobbywing xerun 150a esc, change the gearing, get some lipo's 4s to 6s and get a pair of grp rubber tires -
car is currently being rebuilt and is going back to a 4 cell car, updates shortly.

i used to have the draper solder and i kept getting bad solder joints, i now use some weller stuff and i have never got a bad solder joint since. http://www.tooled-up.com/product/weller-el60-40-100-electronic-solder-resin-core/12416/

i would have gone for a bigger axle but most of the stuff i will use has a 20mm bore, however to help the axle take the weight it will have 4 support bearings 2 on each side, one on the outside of the wheel and one on the inside of it
