A guy on You Tube was having problems with the front CV joints snapping. He now uses rear dog bones and reckons they are more durable.

I am going to take the charger and Lipo back to the shop. The charger still has a smell of burning about it a day after use, so hopefully a warranty replacement and fingers crossed the battery is still OK. I still need a second Lipo and a proper charger though. Would a 5000mah 2s Lipo have much more performance than the standard battery that comes with the kit? A slight increase would be good, but to be honest I am quite satisfied with the performance as stock. Its quite a bit more of a handful than my old Mid-Optima with a modified brushed motor. Im still getting used to the handling at speed. Its hardly surprising that there are so many breakages, I have already destroyed a solar light in the back garden! Great fun!

Nice one Leigh. Is that a hard case Lipo you are using?

Hi guys, I have had a Carnage Brushless for just over a week now. Its a great car, but I have been having problems with the stock charger and Lipo. The Lights on the charger should all turn green when charging complete (which they never have even after 6 hours), but the battery seemed charged and was running fine in the car. Now, however, the charger seems to have given up and is just flashing red and green (all 3 LEDs). Questions: 1) Is the charger goosed and should I take it back? 2) I could do with a better charger anyway so any recommendations. 3) Another Lipo would be useful, so what kind of spec should I be looking at? I got a Carnage brushless last week. I also looked at the Maverick, but the Carnage has a Lipo as opposed to a NiMh and the shocks looked better. Its a great car so far.
