  1. Well....considering the Virus ST rolling chassis kit was around
  2. Nitro if possible. Don't really need anything too substantial as it will inevitably end up being a basher. Don't mind leccy, but don't want to spend a fortune.
  3. Need the above pull start, complete with the hex shaft for the OWB. Everything on the net is around
  4. I have a spare engine and was looking for a roller to drop it into. This progressed to me trying to find a roller in kit form, but not really coming up with much. Was about to buy the Ansmann Virus ST kit until they dropped off the face of the planet, so now I'm back to square one. All I'm after is something I can build from scratch (preferably off road). What would you all recommend? I've been looking at Tamiya kits, and swaying towards the Lunchbox as I could probably get my daughter involved and let her run it once complete? Only issue with this is that it still leaves me with my spare engine. What do you all recommend?
  5. Cheers. I guess I'll have another bash. Patience is the key.........no where can I get some patience from??????
  6. Exaggeration on the Aro. Just put a few drops in to make things a bit easier. Can I chuck it in an oven to heat it? Havent really got amything else here to get it up to temperature.
  7. Have got hold of a fairly, if not brand spanking, new .21 engine. Problem is, there appears to be way too much compression and my starter box fails to turn it over. I've marked BDC on the flywheel and this manages to maybe get a turn or two, but after that it just stops. Tried heating the engine (only to 50oc achievable from a hair dryer). Filled it with ARO. Still nothing. Turning by hand is tough, but I do manage to turn it over. Just before it hits TDC there's a bit of a clunk. Had it all apart, everything moves freely as it should until I put the liner and piston back in. Is it just a case of too much compression or is it something more sinister? Any ideas on how to overcome this problem?
  8. Ive just bought a Turnigy 1/8 back pack from hobby king. More suited to a 1/10 if Im honest, but Ive managed to fit my Losi 8t in there if I takes the wheels off. Wheel fit in the front pockets and there are more pockets on the sides.
  9. Sorry to start this up again, but if I had a 12v 7ah battery, would a 500mah trickle charge take 14hrs to fully charge the battery?
  10. Thanks gents. Think thats settled it then.
  11. Transport isnt an issue, so Im not really bothered by weight. What sort of mah would I be looking at to fit in the box. Off the top of my head 7500mah seemed to be a decent fit.
  12. Ive been given a Fastrax Universal starter box for my 8t. Whats the best to use, 12v sealed or 3s Lipo?
  13. As above. Only the 1.0 buggy mounts please, not the 2.0 etc. Apparently the 1.0 buggy mounts sit higher to allow a pullstart to be fitted.
  14. As per the title, Im trying to fit the Pro28 into my 8T roller. Clutch bell and centre spur seem to mesh well, but when rolled by hand, there is a clicking from the centre spur. Any ideas? Do I need to by a new 8ight specific clutch and bell, or will the stock Pro28 suffice (both the 28 and 50 have come from my MTA's). Can anyone forsee any problems I would have with the install of either of these engines?
  15. Hi pal, any chance of a purple set for an Eight truggy? Send me some Paypal details.
  16. Its a great service, used it a few times. The advantage is also having your missus work at Argos so I dont even have to make the journey.
  17. Hooray for customs charges. :( :( :(

  18. Would be good if they were Flexfit or New Era 39Thirty caps with the solid backs. Not a big fan of the buckles.
  19. Guys, if anyone is in need of a new direct drive backplate, I have a link to a place in Norway that cost me
  20. Whats the sizes? Wheel and tyre diameter and width? Sorry to be a pain.
